The campus of our college is one of the best in the city, it is very beautiful and gorgeous, it is filled with greenery, the facilities are also very good like a food court, ground, basketball court, and parking.
Placement here are average 700000 to 750000 per annum which is good for a teir 3 college this year the company which took the students at best package on campus was zscaler and other companies like ibm hotel radisson blu
The faculty is very nice they provide great mentorship and support.

Dislikes

I found some faculty to be unapproachable as they seem to favour student who interact with them on regular basis and tend to be rude to others without having any good reasons
Library fine is very bad because i always forget to giveback the books
College management is in not in good hands i think becoz they dont care what is going on with the students every time exam portal window get troubled they should consider it and maintain it at least during the examination

Review for taking admission in uttaranchal university

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is very good and provide decent facilities.
Club are best part of college, club are formed for many activities like web development, hackathon, and cultural event
Environment of the university is decent no harmful and suspicious activity run here.

Dislikes

Research facility and research paper quality is not up to the mark.
Student of the college are not very smart. the less competition environment among student.
Syllabus for engineering curriculum needs to be update it is old.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the course is old not as per new trends in job market It's has for all engineering subjects like operating system, cloud computing, c, c++, networking and many more but job trending technology like mern stack, java full stack is not here. Needs more practical teaching style rather than theoretical. Level of exam is easy everyone can pass before one night study.

Uttaranchal University Is Good For Dreams

Likes

Uttaranchal university campus is very big it have big ground to play anything
Uttaranchal university auditorium and library is very well maintained, big, and clean
College campus is very neat and clean, everyone is disciplined

Dislikes

College wifi is very slow and sometimes mobile networks also gone
If you taking hostel you have to live with one senior
They add extra fine if taken books from library more than 15 days

Placement Experience:

Student getting placed from 6th semester 500+ companies visited in 2024 and 1500+ students placed 70% students getting placed in 2024 Highest package is 1.50cr that achieved by Abhinav Ankur in Forma USA He is a btech CSE student Recently one of the student of Uttaranchal University from 3rd year Deepa Pandey got a internship in a google

The faculty's expertise, teaching methods, and mentorship quality.
I like the infrastructure of my college .
I like the way we do our practical classes

Dislikes

I don't like their management system of our college
It feels like school environment I don't like it
I don't like wearing same uniforms for every department

Placement Experience:

In last year, students got 100% placement. Companies are- Tata , world of Hyatt , Google etc . The highest package is 5 crore in Google company. My plans after getting the degree is looking for abroad job in hotel.

The faculty expertise, their teaching style.
Quality of infrastructure, including campus amenities and learning facilities.
Library access is one of the best thing..

Dislikes

School like environment.. people are like very much judgy type
There should me much more amenities in the campus..
Student should be much more interactive between each other..

Placement Experience:

In last year of the course.. the individual is eligible for placement.. many companies visited here like.. wipro, Oberoi, tata, reliance, google, etc 5 crore was the highest package here.. My plans after getting the degree is to be in a corporate firm..

Uit very expensive college

Likes

College should change curriculum and teaching us about new knowledge
College should conduct seminars with industry experts
Infrastructure is very decent and well maintained And some faculties are good and some are very bad in their field

Dislikes

Curriculum of college and old teaching style
Lack of sports in college there is a only one ground for more than 30000 students
Student intake is not limited if you have money you can take addmission any time.

I choose computer science and engineering because of new technologies are coming and we are having scope in this to get job but there is very rush in CSE i didn't suggest anyone to do CSE with private college In our college there are many areas to change. One of them is curriculum and teaching style.

within the campus there is no ragging that a great thing
there is regularly programs happing which i liked
the techers are really helpfully in nature

Dislikes

faculties of particular subjects that i disliked like statics
there is strict dress code that you have to wear reglarly
they will ask you some amount of money regularly

i think from 3 rd semsester students are eligble for campus placements iam from 1 sem thats why i didnt eligble for that higest is like 20 lakhs and lowest is 3 lakhs per anam they show 90 percent but actually only 10 percent of students get placed i am planning to get a job ncr

Two things that i like most about this college is it's campus and it's faculty

The placement is not that good as good as the fees of college.

The areas for improvement in the coarse curriculum that i would like to bw suggested is like the students that want to go for coding in future should be taught most about the coding the class basically the number of letures of coding must be increase rather than focusing in ubjects like EVS.

The campus of the the colledge is amazing.
The location of the colledge is amazing and the weather of the city is also good.
The faculty of the colledge is very helpful towards the students.

Dislikes

The placement conducted is not in appropriate manner.
There are less companies providing packages for all students according to the population of students.
The discipline of the colledge is less according to the other colleges in dehradun.

Placement Experience:

After second semester placement gets started and students start giving interviews. Few companies are Wipro, Ceasefire, Bajaj Finserv, Om Logistics and various more companies. 70 percent students get placements.I am working as marketing executive in an IT company

It is very good because they have equality in all genders
They provide guidance or they organise event of education related
Faculty of collage is very much supportive they help us in every situation

Dislikes

Security of collage should be more in it
No fighting should be there they should take strict action
They should see the capability of student and give opportunities to all

Placement Experience:

We. Can sit in placement when we are in 3 year the placement ratio of collage is 95% the student is placed the highest package last year goes of 25 lpa of an MCA student it is pretty good mostly all the companies come to our collage recently Accenture take 15 student with them by placing them in technical . My plans after the placement I will do job with online mca to have master degree with me too

Boring life in a boring place

The books facility is good and the infrastructure of the department is nice
The faculty is good and helpful.social interaction is mid.
Placement service is also mid and not that great

Dislikes

The extra charges in every thing like you have to pay for every single thing
Use less procedures and fines for everything
Some of the faculty is untrained and annoying

Its mid the subject is interesting but the way they pressurize us to get marks or the fear of back exams make it frustrating otherwise the subject is interesting the exams are difficult and frustrating..

Some of my friends attended Uttaranchal University. Their experience at the institute has been good.

According to my friends, the infrastructure of UU is quite good. The faculty members are well-qualified and supportive of the students. The environment on campus is great for studies. Although UU has strict rules and regulations regarding attendance.
