Our university is at present secured a very good position in the research filed campus life is also very good. Scientific attitude is there. Study life is also good. Students are happy with the systems not applicable.

Its the best college a girl can study in if she stays in kolkata the college has the best rooms with ac in all of them. its a neat college and all the staffs, teachers, principal are helpful and understanding they will make you study and you will feel like you are in your school and not in college they are too strict with attendance.

I took WBJEE and got 140 score, Electrical engineering being a core branch Is never out of fashion and this very department here at JU is a beauty any negativity u hear about u is far from this department.

Our atmosphere is green andy's kind of soothing to go to ground in between classes and refreshing.

JU is now reserved to admit the student of W.B. only.Whereas in my time it was open to all.In my opinion institute are place where students should get an opportunity to develop himself/herself in totality rather than being just academic.And interaction of a student with another student of different region, culture, tradition, language and sharing the ideology between them is a part of overall development. This teaches a lot in making good relationship and keeping healthy environment with cooperative spirit which is a need while working in company. With this remark I wish JU should open/reserve the regional seats on percent basis.All other things are satisfactory to qualify a 5 star university.

Overall this college is a top order engineering college in India ranking, mostly if you are thinking of doing under graduation course. Sports, events, politics, competitions everywhere studentsmare very active. And overall workculture is upto the mark, I would say.

I took WBJEE exam in which I ranked 276. Apart from IIT Kgp, Jadavpur is the best university in West Bengal without a doubt and that rank was good enough for this branch(in 2012), but now u need to be within top 200 to get this course now. Jadavpur has some experienced and distinguished faculty.
