Glimpse of NIT durgapur

Fees and Financial Aid:

As I am a sc category students I have to pay 97600 rs per year in which 56200 is other compulsory and 36400 is mess fee and 5000 is hostel caution money fee I don't have to pay tution fee which is 62500 per semester for students whose family income is above 5 lakh per annum have to pay 113600 per semester in which 90600 is course fee and 18200 is mess fee and 5000 is hostel caution money college doesn't provide any scholarship or financial aid you have to apply for either government or private scholarship

The college course average fee is around 2 lakh but the package we receive is very good. The return on investment as per the college fee is very good. The college provides scholarships on a merit basis through Merit Cum Means Scholarship Schemes. Fee Structure is very simple. Everyone has to pay semester wise. You can get loan from inhouse branch of SBI and Canara in college campus. Many scholarships are also available for masters and research students

I felt that course syllabus is somewhat repeatation of BTech.It could have better. Industrial exposure is very less for mechanical engineering, forward other branches like cse, vlsi ece it is good.Faculties are very supportive.

No, Bachelor of Computer Application [BCA] course is not available in NIT Durgapur. The institute only offers Computer Application specialization at Masters level.
