LODAGALA VAMSIKRISHNA's Review On National Institute Of Technology - [NIT], Durgapur

I applied for multiple NITs During Josaa Counselling but my top 5 suitable choice according to my home location and considering other limiting factors was NIT Rourkela, NIT Silchar, NIT Durgapur, NIT Patna and IIEST Shibpur. Apart from these, I have also Applied for Calcutta University and Jadavpur University. I have got approval from NIT DGP,Calcutta University and Jadavpur University. But I have chosen NIT because of better Placement records and better campus Life. Moreover it's an Institution of of National Importance and Hold a good NIRF rank. So I preferred this choice above others. I wasn't rejected from the above colleges, but simply i didn't get the eligible rank for them. And the 3 which I got, i choosed the best among them. The Admission process of NIT DGP was through Josaa and CSAB counselling. The College and the Branch will be alloted to you according to your rank in the JEE MAINS Examination. The Closing rank of this exam in 2025 of General Category for the lowest Branch in BTech is 63387. The overall admission process for the college, apart from hostel allotment, was completely online. 14-15 documents were to be submitted in pdf format in the specific website provided. I was getting all nits of india and also some iits.The only reasons of not choosing them is branch ,i was getting lower branches in all other colleges so i choose this. I think this was the best college onmy rank. Admission process- You will have to qualify jee mains to get admission in this college wit a rank under 50 thousand to get a goo branch.Then you will have to sit in josaa councelling then follow the next steps....Read More

nit trichy i kept it top but i did not get it as my jee score is insufficient for it .i choosed nit durgapur over the others because i got electronics and communication and any other top college i did not able to get thid branch . as it is NIT the admission through jossa conselling as of jee main marks eligiblitly critria is above 75 % in 12th and should be clear jee main ,cut off maarks is 150 so tha you get nit durgapur...Read More

I applied to IIEST Shibpur and was getting ECE there but I chose this college because of its brand name, infrastructure and placement which are all way above shibpur. No I did not get any rejection form college I applied for. So the admission process is simple.You need to crack Jee Mains with a great rank to reach here.There after you need to go through the Jossa counselling and if you get a seat here you need to confirm and pay initially some fees to get a seat in this college.The overall admission experience was very much smooth because of the whole process being shifted to online and thus students do not have much difficulty....Read More
