In vi semester students become eligible for internships and placements companies like infosys ,wipro , accenture, amazon etc last year amazon offered highest package in university of 44lpa my plan is to place in good company or startup
The faculties are highly educated and they have good experience in teaching and very friendly
I mostly liked was fee structure and the scholarship there providing for students

Dislikes

No i didn't write any entrance exams .they have done the admission process by only the cut off marks of 12th standard.there is no eligibility every one can join.fees structure they will give when you visit the college admission block.
Things i dislike in collage that is they will give attention only tamil students
I don't like the way of correction of answer sheet these done based on writing not on content

Over-all a very good choice

Likes

The college atmosphere will be very good with students from different countries will be coming and graduate there, and also infrastructure can be improved which can make it effective
There are more professors in teaching staff which will be helpfull for students for fine understanding of concepts and the overall teaching was top notch
Placements were okay but can improve in some aspects like coordinating students in good manner and bringing more companies and also mainly students should be giving free hand for self learning they will be teaching topics on there own wish.

Dislikes

Sometimes there will be more classes there regular curriculum that will be little stressfull
The placement coordinators and staff will be somewhat rude to students in some situations
Humidity will be more in the classrooms in summer

Placement Experience:

Placements are fine and can make improvements by bringing more companies, mainly some of the placement staff are over headed and rude to students, the coordination with students will not be fine in some cases, other then that the opportunities will be in good manner and the average package is around 4LPA

Announcements regarding holidays and regarding examination dates delivered is late

Generally this course does not have mathamatics so i choose the course Provide more leagl awareness programmes to strengthen field knowledge Semester examination will be of 70 marks and timings will be 2 hours

Faculty intersection is very well and very helpful
College life you can see many types of cultural differences
Hostel Life is one of the best things I like most.

Dislikes

Some faculty is not good I dislike these things
Some time hostel management system is not good
Some time mess food is not good in test .

Placement Experience:

Placement of this college is good no any problem with placement. If u are good skilled you can easily get placed. You should fulfill the placement criteria. After completing the 6th semester students are eligible for placements.

Likes

The education provided by the college is good and facilities like water, streetlight, bus facilities, wifi facilities, hostel food quality
My engagement with campus life and quality of social interaction is good
The faculities are very good and very knowledgeable and very well in teaching and mentorship quality

Dislikes

Hostel food and no strict rules for hostel students are very bad and disliked by me
The quality of learning facilities and campus amenities can be proved a lot it is average when compared to other college
Placements are very minimum in this year when compared to last year

Placement Experience:

during admission they wold have said placemnets are very good but placements for my course is rare and companys came for us are from marketing and IT field. in my core area there is two companies came up thats it. zifo and thermofisher came up. highest package are 4 lakhs and lowest package 2 lakhs. 30% of students got placed totally. after the degree searching for the jobs now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is far enough to learn. Hostel food should be improved and rooms need to be cleaned. There is 3 hostels for boys and one hostel for girls, the hostel is there inside the college that's very easy for them. but for boys that three hostel is very far.

Veltech - A good college

Likes

College had very good basic infrastructure with quality teachers.
College had a great international relations fraternity. Interested students can get admissions at partner Universities abroad and continue their education there. They have tie-ups with foreign universities and even MoU with Taiwanese government.
Placement offers are good. Companies like Zoho, Cognizant, Amazon offer good packages.

Dislikes

The syllabus of the curriculum is quite outdated and strictly need to improve.
Mechanical engineering students were been ignored by the management.
Roads connecting the college with main road lack maintainece. Need to get developed.

Placement Experience:

Students from 6th semester were eligible for campus placement. Companies like Zoho Cognizant Amazon Infosys Musigma offer good packages. College has dedicated Placement Training Cell for training students to appear to various interviews. Most of the students get placed.

Veltech school of law is a temple of learning

Staffs are well experienced. They teach in a manner which will make the learning process more interesting and easier .
College canteen is maintained properly. Our college has both hostel canteen and private canteen for day scholars .

I choose this course because I am interested to study law . My ambition is to serve the people of our country . I plan to pursue civil services if I did not get into it I will practice as advocate and serve the people

Placements was good but not better we need to focus on studies and they will not teach everything and i started practising programming on 2nd year itself and i was placed at hcl technologies with my own knowledge only and only companies do come.

Vel Tech university has students from many states and also from foreign coutries which allows the students to learn how to socialise and helps to learn different cultural activities.There also provide hostel for students with gym, park etc.
Vel Tech University has many clubs such as arts club, dance club, music club ,NCC , NSS etc., for students to learn more extra curricular activities. They also conduct many workshops and seminars to enhance student's knowledge.
Vel Tech follows choice based credit system through which students are able to select and read the courses according to their interest.

Dislikes

As a day scholar , Vel Tech's timing is not effective for travelling. Even if the students pay bus fee they are not providing bus after a certain time .
When compared to other colleges , Vel Tech has less cultural events.

The students are being provided pre-requisite courses to complete before starting the new course which will make it easier for the students to learn. I have a few friends from Vel Tech University and according to them, it is a decent college with affordable course fees. A B.E from Val Tech will cost you around 2 lakhs.

Mainly IT companies visit the college campus to recruit students from IT, CSE, EEE branches. So, you will get decent placement opportunities. You will be placed if your aptitude and spoken English are good.

According to the recent placement highlights, around 90% of students are placed. The highest package last year was 12 LPA. The college has a placement cell that invites a number of companies. Some of the major recruiters visiting the campus placements are Google, Capgemini, Amazon, Vivo, etc.

Career guidance programs are conducted twice a week. Some highly skilled professors are allocated for teaching online exams which are conducted under the guidance of the smart teaching staff.
