REVA University Bangalore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placements of different branches and degrees are different. For my degree the placements were very bad. No companies visited at my time. So, either you have to go off campus or you should go for post graduation.

Information science I felt was broader in terms of subjects than computer science. So I chose it hoping it would open up a larger number of oppurtunities for me in my masters or employment considering a larger stretch of subjects studied. The curriculum I would say is good. Might not feel like it but it contains all the fundamentals required to be a good programmer, good software engineer, etc. The timing of exams I feel is perfect, timing of teaching is a little slow for the exams though.

The placements is quite good in our college and the students become eligible to placements from their 7th semester onwards and the highest package I have heard was 17,00,000 per annum and the average package will be around 9,00,000.

Information Science Engineering is the course ive chosen because i am solely interested in pure software coding and development which this course deals with compared to Computer Science engineering which also deals w hardware. At Reva university we have 3 exams in total every sem, 2 internal exams w almost 2 months of gap and a Sem End Examination with the difficulty being moderate as 70% of the questions would be studied by the teachers the rest for the numericals the students have to practice enough.

Students are eligible for internships from 6th semester Campus has accumulatively over 700 recruiters out of which over 200 are recurring recruiters every year Internship opportunities are also offered by university departments to work within the university and also through recruiters Online portal is created to directly apply for eligible offers Placements in final year have a similar process

Their unique way of delivering the curriculum auch as conducting placement training classes and conducting laboratory sessions The way of teaching the lab programs made it easy. As experienced faculty would be put in the labs only.

Form 4th sem students are eligible to sit for placements. Dell ,. Lenovo, Infosys , AMD , Adobe Highest package is 38lpa ECE and lowest is 5 lpa and 7is average Plans after graduation is to establish a own company, startup or join the company as worker

There are many opportunities provided by the university. In which I got selected in 2 companies, in which one is Accenture. They offered me a 4.5lpa job. We can participate in placements from 2nd sem itself. Companies visited are Accenture, IBM, Tech mahindra, Maple Labs, and many more. Around 25 companies visited the campus including technical and non technical. As of now, only 60 students out of 180 are placed

Students have reviewed a very good placements, and teachers help you through the process for their betterment in their placements One of the highest placements in EEE recently was of 25 lakhs per annum from a Japan company And different departments receive placements according to the student talent and grades

For campus placements the students need to pass the third year while some excellent students (not me) get placed in their 6 semester itself and continue with internships in 4th years. Also university keeps very less subjects in final year as most of the students are on internship. The companies like Bosch, Amazon, Capgemini and Centum are few of the companies that visit the campus. Last academic year 23-24 around 300 companies visited the campus. The University provides students with placement and training program which is a part of the course curriculum and is helpful for the students in getting getting placed. Most of the students which don't want to get into higher studies get placed in this campus. Even I am right now maintaining an average 7.5-8 gpa and planning into sitting in placement round for upcoming academic year later after a few years I will plan for higher higher studies
