At the end of their fourth semester, students at the university have the opportunity to apply for assistant professor positions through interviews and certificate evaluations. Non-teaching positions are filled via periodic exams. Companies such as ITC, Verka, PepsiCo, and various software companies recruit from the university, with the highest salary package offered being 10 LPA. Placement success varies by department. Notably, the mathematics course does not include an internship program, whereas departments like Food Science and Technology and Agriculture offer internships with both international and national companies.
In 2020, semester fees for each department ranged from 11,000 to 12,000. However, due to policy changes, the fees increased to 2.5 times the initial amount starting in the 2022-23 session. This fee hike has posed challenges for new students and has impacted enrollment numbers. The PMS scheme covers full semester fees but is only available to SC students.
