Good Campus

Remarks:

Campus Inaugurated it’s exclusive “Restaurant” for distinguish who regularly visit for Placement Drives, Workshops, Seminars, Symposiums etc. After seeing the Restaurant, the one work which comes to mind is “Grand”. The ambiance is fabulous and the decor is quite unique with short wooden tables resembling rustic furniture made from tree trunks. With exclusive interiors and amazing lighting, comfortable chairs run down the space, it has the dazzling gold of the ceiling lamps shining off the gloss of the wooden tables. Well planned seating areas help you to relax and enjoy the flavors of food.

Remarks:

Campus has good Auditorium/ Theater is a state of the art air-conditioned (A/C) auditorium/ Theater with a seating capacity of 600 + and designed to handle acoustics technically well. It is equipped with audio-visual facilities and is apt for all major functions. The aesthetically designed Auditorium is a classic mixture of old and contemporary Indian architecture. It provides a perfect ambiance for holding national and international scientific, industrial and cultural meets.

Amazing days of my life!

Entrance Preview:

Admission is carried out through JEE Main and marks obtained in 10+2. 66.6% seats form the State Quota while 33.3% seats in each discipline are reserved for Management Quota. Admissions to all seats are made on the basis of merit of JEE Main/ 10+2 marks.

Good place to learn more

Remarks:

Overall it was a pretty good experience in the college i got to learn a lot of things from my faculty, the seniors, the juniors one problem in the college was with the administration other was it was all good. Teachers was good and management was also very nice and supportive.

Nice place for students

Remarks:

The computer system is not a simple machine. It is like a very modern and highly complex calculator. It can do all the functions at a speedy rate and also helps us to search and progress in our homes and businesses. A computer can therefore be called a calculator with a twist for not only does it perform fast calculations, but it also has other special characteristics.

Remarks:

College has a good collection of Audio video material, NPTEL, CDs & DVDs. The library has a separate Book Bank exclusively for the high flyers. Good awesome city with happy punjabi people. I guess one has to live in punjab once. Happy culture with less tensions. Bad Politics is always there at management level so don't be in that just focus on yours.

My cousin studies at CGC Jhanjeri and it's a nice and average place to be. Following are some issues though, which may be burdensome:

If you wish to go out during college hours then you will need to get an application signed by the CC and the HOD. The process itself will take up a lot of time.
Girls can stay out up to 7 pm in summers and 6 pm in winters and you can step out to roam in the campus by 4:30 and you will have to return in two hours to avoid sending a call home.
You should have at least a 75% attendance like most colleges, but it will be evaluated every 15 days. You will have to attend 75% of 15 days to avoid detention during the Monthly Sessional Tests of MSTs.
The campus is verdant and hygienic and it has a playground, but it is surrounded by grasslands on all sides up to 5 Kms. It has all the basic amenities like stationery shops, sports ground, pool, games room, etc.
Even transportation is an issue and autos and buses are the only way but quite time-consuming.

Hostel, mess food, cleanliness, room Sharing are not any issues at all. You will not have to worry about ragging too. You can go to Chandigarh for shopping after getting your passbook filled and signed by the Warden.

However, you cannot bunk because the campus is small, you can get discovered very easily and may face some good punishment. As for placements, it all depends upon research-based hard work and skills. Major companies do visit for recruitment.
