Actually this is the first batch of admission at IIT dharwad.In first semester , iit collected 59000 rupees from sc/st/pwd students and 62000 from general students. so, sc/st/pwd general 1st sem 51000 62000 2nd sem 40000 43000 3rd sem 41500 44500 4th sem 40000 43000 the details fees structure are discribe below- admission fee-300,acdemic service charge-1200,convocation fee-3000,alumni lifetime membership fee-2000,library deposits-1000,institue deposits-5000,registration fee-1500,tution fee-3000,examination fee-2000,library fee-500,gymkhana fee-3000,medical fee-2500,students benevolent fund-1000,hostel establishment charges-2500,mess establishment charges-1500,students activity estblishment charges-2000,hostel room rent-1000,electricity and water charges-2500,mess advance-20000,medical insurance premium-1500,hostel deposite-5000, tuition fee for sc/st/pwd students are nil but all others fees are same. scholarship - they provide NSP Scholarship for post graduate studies which provide 15000 per month.

Over all IIT Dharwad is good not bad

For genral candidate, obc, for 1st year fee is 2 .98 lacks And 2.80 lacks for 2nd 3rd and 4th year For sc /st candidates for 1st year 98k And. 81k for 2nd 3rd and 4th year . *Scholarship* For genral and obc candidates who have less than 5 lacks income refund 2/3 fee amount and who have income less than 7 lack per annum refund 1/3 fee amount this is college scholarships For sc/st who have less than 4.5 lacks income 20k mess fee refund per year

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Fee is same for all the B.tech courses. For General, EWS, and OBC students, the tuition fee is 1 lakh per semester, and hostel, mess fees, and other charges sum up to around 40,000. However, if your family income is than 1 LPA, then tuition fee is waived off and you only pay for hostel, mess, and other charges. If your family income is between 1-5 LPA, you get a 2/3rd fee waiver in the tution fees and the hostel, mess and other charges remain the same. For SC/ST students tution fee is completely waived off regardless of family income and they only pay for hostel and mess and other charges. The Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship is given to students who are in the top 25% of their batch academically and have a family income less than 4.5 lakhs, and in this full tution fee is waived off.

per a semester we are paying 150000 so there will be teo semesters per year so total we are paying approx 300000 per a year.This is for general category for SC/ST/Pwd the fee structure will be different.For SC/ST/Pwd the fees will be approx 36500 per semester and 73000 per month and OBC,SC,ST people get scholorship also

IIT Dharwad is new but not forever..

Talking about the fees structure, each student have to pay a significant amount of 3 lakhs per year as a fees. Scholarships are open for students in reservation like OBC, ST, SC and EWS. The students belonging to any category having parental income less than 5-7 lakhs per annum can also avail these scholarships giving a total redemption of 2 lakhs that is the tution fees per year. Fee structure is same for a particular batch irrespective of the branches but can be little different in different years. Fees also include some deposits for library, Gym, Medical facilites that help the students to get all the facilities without paying any more charge after the fees paid. Giving a rough distribution of the fees paid per year would be: Tution fees that is 2 Lakhs per year, Hostel and mess fees that is 42-45000 per year, Management and Deposits accounts for the remaining fees.

A little about IIT Dharwad

Well starting from for a general category student , tution fees is 1,00,000 rs per semester , extra amount of approximate 50,000 is taken every semester for hostel room charges , mess charges . For SC/ST category student tution fees is not charged rest other are same as for general ones . So in conclude -3lakhs per year for general student and 1 lakh per year for a SC /ST student Well for Obc amd other reservation depends on the family income and they are provided scholarship also if they avail by providing some documents.

as a obc category student i had no scholarship due to not elegible for income creteria , in first semseter i paid around 1.35 lakh + 35000 for seat conformation , in second semester i not yet paid , they hasnt informed complete data about it ,for registration we have to nearly 50000

Fees I paid per semester - 40000 (not included Tuition Fee) Tuition fee was 1 lakh There are many scholarship schemes like based on merit and financial conditions of the Student using which students get the reimbursement of their tuition fee. All you need to know about IIT-Dh

Tution fee is 100000 and hostel mess gym and other charges account upto 36500 approx. You can opt three types of scholarship MCM(merit based) Means(income based) and category based. Mcm includes refunding the tution fee and a 1000 monthly accommodation. There are several bank loan sources available on campus that include SBI and Canara. They are more than happy to sanction the education loans.
