My college life

Likes

Students safety is highly to be appreciated in this college as there were no ragging happens
Infrastructure quality is also good and well maintained
Faculties focuses on students development and there skill enhancement

Dislikes

The college was surrounded by factories due to which pollution is high
Transportation issues happened sometimes
Jams of trucks are a major issues while travelling from college

Internships Opportunities:

Companies like Jindal , wipro , and etc came to hier students as their intern with stipend from 5k to 15k and more according to work role . Major projects like company profit valuation, sales , account management etc

Likes

I like the building structure and the environment here
The teachers are very experienced and very supportive
The hostel and mess are very clean and Hygienic

Dislikes

The area is full of dust And coal mines .
The Teachers are not look forward to help in placement cell
Lack of sports facilities in the college

Placement Experience:

Students of fifth semester are eligible for internship and even campus placement . The companies visited are Infosys , Jindal steel Jindal power plant, Jindal coal industries the highest package was 3300,00 per annum and 300000 per annum as avergae package .my plans after getting a degree to start a business in my field

I liked the steel and coal based industries here could help in future development in my course
The rules and regulations are tangible .
Teachers are experienced and well educated.

Dislikes

The weather over here is much uncomfortable to the skin
The food provieded is of too low quality
The competition rate is too high because od admission very easily of every student

Internships Opportunities:

There are various companies offering jobs or interships like jsw,jspl,jindal bellary plant In tech the companies like Infosys, tech-mahindra, And various other companies. There arw various projects are performed in order to reach the maximum potential in an individual

Lifetime opportunity to sit in campus placements with placement guidance
Optimum alumini connection and guidance
Expert faculties from top NIT's IIT's and other prestigious universities

Dislikes

Tougher actions required related to ragging among boys
No onsite internships allowed in 1st and 2nd yr
More fest and activities should be organised

Internships Opportunities:

I am in the 1st year , so I don't have any internship experiences yet. But the internships opportunities are nice with nice stipend offer. Some of the Students even pay their fees through the payment of these internships. Several projects like one of the main project is VIKRANT , it is an automated bike project made bt the students of different different departments .

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is good. Campus is well maintained. The greenery in the university is pleasant for the students.
The facilities provided by the college for classes is well equipped. As a CSE student, all the labs and classrooms are AC equipped with smart boards for classes.
The fest is celebrated in a grand way which is Technorollix which is held during the month of March-April every year.

Dislikes

Lack of good health facilities. The medical centre is not efficient enough if someone faces a serious injury.
Hostel equipments maintenance is one of the issues I didn't liked as I am a Hosteller.
Campus is too far from the main city. Due to which dayscholars have to travel for atleast 45-50 minutes daily to reach college and to go home.

Placement Experience:

As I am Btech Student, every student become eligible for campus placements after 7th Semester. Many companies visits the college such as JSL, TCS, Muthood Finance, Flipkart etc:- every year. Highest Package here was 33 Lakhs Per Year on Amazon by Sujeet Soni. And average package of the college varies from 4.8-4.9 lakhs per annum. Students getting placed varies from 85-89% success rate.

Likes

The Industry connection of the college is best specially for core branches Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgy
In the 7th semester college provided a long term internship of 6 months
Faculty are highly qualified, All have completed there PHD

Dislikes

The management doesn't support in major changes
The quality of student ia not up to mark because of direct admission
Do not support much in working on innovative projects

Internships Opportunities:

For metallurgy the option was jspl, tata steel and R and D like CSIR- NML so there wasn't any stipend but the experience was rich as it was a 6 month long internship we got a very wholesome expirence overall internship was really nice

College grows different types of plants every time which looks very beautiful
Teachers are very friendly with the students

Dislikes

Roads are very bad and sometimes due to jaam we reach home late

Internships Opportunities:

I have worked with the college only. I was in the accounts department where I have learnt many things with my faculties. I have learnt to use tally ERP software which is necessary for an accounts student to know how to operate.

I like the infrastructure and placement record.
The hostel and library for studies. Availablity of books.
The clubs and sports was very good in this university.

Dislikes

The location of university is not good..
The mess food was not that good and fees was high.

Internships Opportunities:

The Internship will be in the syllabus for all the students and the college will provide internships. The main company for colleges to do internships is Jindal because it belongs to Jindal group. And Students will find the internship own.

here is a library , tech room, it lab , chemistry lab, physic lab, mp hall , entertainment halll

Dislikes

the route of college from raigarh is very bad
the college buses are not very comfortable
canteen and mess personally idont like here

Internships Opportunities:

many companies visited for internships like jspl, nalwa steel plant, and Jindal power limited talking about the roles of purchase assistance, marketing department, and finance person appointed to make GST bills and all.

Pros and cons are always there but if you are learning and you think it will help in future of your career then you got it.I am over-all satisfied here.

Likes

I enjoy campus life there is multiple facilities like open ground, badminton court,food court,open gym are available
Faculties focus on developing the overall growth of child instead only stucking to the course and Curriculum.

Dislikes

Placement can be increased. Internal assessment should be reduced.

Internships Opportunities:

I don't know much about it but JSPL and JPL always provide internships and there are others apart from these companies.CISR provided 6-month internship to metallurgical students. Campus internships are provided to the management field along with others.
