Ques. What is the difference between Ph.D. (Computer Science) and Ph.D. (Computer Engineering) at Vishwakarma University?
Ans. Both programmes are offered under the Faculty of Science and Technology at VU. Ph.D. (Computer Science) is housed in the Department of Computer Science and focuses on areas like data science, machine learning, AI, image processing, and blockchain. Ph.D. (Computer Engineering) is housed in the Department of Computer Engineering and has a broader set of 14 supervisors covering areas like AI/ML, computer networks, and software engineering. The annual fee for both is Rs. 1,25,000. Candidates should check the research interests of supervisors in each department before deciding which programme to apply for.

Ques. What is the minimum qualification required to apply for Ph.D. (Computer Science) at Vishwakarma University?
Ans. Candidates must have a Master's degree in Computer Science or a relevant subject with at least 55% marks in aggregate. Candidates who have completed a 4-year/8-semester B.Tech/B.E.
