College remains as the only refferal for the hospital and college in and around the Assam . As it is govt based ,low socio economic people has the healthcare benefit schemes. College also has practical based classes in the hospital hence I feel this suits best for the futher career too.

Silchar Medical College provides medical education to the science background students. The eligibility is that the students must have passed class 12 with at least 50 percent marks. Then they have to appear for the NEET entrance exam. On merit basis, they will be selected.
