Faculty student ratio is ok You will get enough crowd in which you will be able to learn things.Almost all the teachers are good who will introduce you well.Before the semester exams, there are two internal exams which reduce the difficulty level a bit so that you can attempt the exams well.

College is fine, but the fee system is annoying, and teachers are present for less than 6 months. Placements: The package is Rs. 21,000 per month, which can be the maximum amount one can receive through college placements. Placements are held every year, and there are many companies that hire students and in many are well-known companies. Just you need is for every backlog should be cleared. Infrastructure: Cricket, football, and volleyball are available. Sometimes, a sports fest is held once every 2 to 3 years. There is a canteen, but it only serves samosas. The lab has old-model laptops. There is a playground, but only hostelers get the chance to play, as there is no dedicated game period. Sports fests are also not held consistently. Faculty: Teachers are okay, but they keep changing. Many teachers come here for training purposes. Mostly, after the B.Tech, the management doesn't even care to test teachers, they just need the B.Tech degree, that's all. Many teachers leave even in the middle of the syllabus. Other: ST, SC, and BC students can apply for scholarships. You get the opportunity to participate in various events, including quiz competitions, rangoli, Engineers' Day, etc

Faculty-student ratio is decent and teachers are mostly approachable, the course structure follows JUT syllabus with regular internals and end-sems, exams are moderate with few students failing, and overall the curriculum is useful but sometimes feels outdated..There are 2 internal exams in every semester, once in a month and once in 4 semester months, so there is not much problem at the time of exams.

My college faculty is overall supportive and mostly approachable, the ratio is decent but sometimes one teacher handle too many students so attention feel less, teaching quality is mixed because some explain nicely while few teach too fast and we don’t catch everything, the course structure is bit outdated but manageable, exams happen every semester with internals and marking is sometimes strict so few students fail if they don’t write proper steps. So student needs to be prepared..

BIT Sindri in a nutshell

Faculty:

I am not sure of faculty to student ratio in BIT sindri but it is surely around 1:90 and also faculties are very easily approachable there as not only offices but the houses also there in the campus only of all faculties. There were several faculties whom I liked there in my college but i would surely like to mention few of them. SK Chaudhry sir for fluid mechanics and machines is one the best person I have ever met in my life. In the span of 4 years we have 2 main semester exams each year with around 4 CTs of each subject in the respecitve semesters. The difficulty level of exams are completely dependent on the professor who is going to set the paper. An average student can easily clear the exams. Around 20 students in batch failed the exam. The course is completely relevant with the present job oppourtunities available in the market.

faculty to student ratio is quite good here as asking by the seniors we get to know that the faculties are well behaved here , theyt all help their stuents in time of need i like mr pankaj mishra sir the most who helped in settling down in the college including different fields according to me there is no one here whom you can dislike per semester there are tweo exams held which are in the level of moderate to hard arround 20-30% students fail in the exams the course is relevant according to the daily need of the companies and indsutriues in inida specially the soft branches

Girls boys ratio is average interaction is well so very average and environmental is very good for girls also in the college and boys also both seniors and also supportive and helping Nature teachers are also helping Nature and they also help student
All over college is very good I like most of the thing in the college nearly everything faculty also very good teaching process is also very good faculties are also very well educated and they have done PHD

Student faculty relation is very good faculty also help student for mini internship program they also refer to the company they also talk for the students and professors are like more likely very responsive to the they also they also give important questions before exam and exams are also not very hard but it's tough and its easy to clear students do not feeling exam mostly don't not fail in exam as in college the system is that environment is very good to study I personally did not hate any teacher or not like any teacher I like every teacher

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Faculty:

There is one professor per subject in theory classes and one prof with teaching assistants together in the labs.the professors are approachable given you are interested in the subject.Some faculties like Manoj Mishra sir from the chemistry department and Ravi Shankar Sir alongwith Sumanta Sir from Production Department are good faculties. There are 2 midsems and 1 endsem per semester.The midsems are easy and the endsems are slightly in the medium difficulty range.
