The college has great overall placements. The placement starts from semester 7 and 8 last two semesters. Many reputed companies visit the college and offer decent jobs with good packages. The package can start from 3 LPA to 20 LPA depending upon the branch. The percentage of the students getting placements also depends upon the branch which is from 50 to 100 percent.

The institute offers 100% placement assistance to all the students across the specializations. The sector which gives maximum offers is BFSI followed by IT & consulting. The average package offered is usually around 10.75 LPA, but due to the pandemic, it has dropped down a bit. The average package of top 100-120 students goes around 12-13 LPA.

The KJ Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research has a splendid placement record. A reputed business organization such as Marico limited, Nestle, Hindustan Unilever come here as regular recruiters. The average package is around 9.8 lacs per annum.

I would say, it's upto you as to how you make the most out of the opportunities you get at the college.Personally I felt the experience to be rewarding, made great connections and experienced beautiful moments during all those 4 years of Engineering.KJSCE has a well maintained beautiful campus, surely amongst the best in Mumbai. Good sports amenities and facilities. Good engineering crowd, many gujjus because of the minority quota, so you will have to deal with hearing Gujarati, a LOT. Though I don't know about other departments, but the Mechanical engineering department indeed had smart students. The Mechanical Engineering department boasts the best Formula Student team in India (at least when I graduated it was). They even had many other teams which participated in BAJA, Shell Eco Marathon, Robocon etc. However, the one thing common across all the departments is that you can find the alumni in top colleges like Purdue, Georgia Tech, UMich Ann Arbor, NYU, CMU, Cornell etc. pursuing their Masters.A few cons are that there's no cutting edge research going on for the geeky types, won't get funding for projects easily, shit placements. Being in the heart of Mumbai, if a college can't bring in top companies, it's a shame. There's a lot of talent but they aren't given great placement opportunities. Majority of the students find it on their own through their connections. (Accenture, TCS & Infosys aren't considered great opportunities by me).The college has become autonomous and thus I hope it takes some lessons from Universities like BITS and IITs so as to introduce a much more diversified learning exposure, internships, student exchange programs with top universities, etc. It's important that students are exposed to subjects that matter in the real world along with the core engineering curriculum. Introducing a good curriculum can attract consulting and finance companies too for placements.Anyways if you get admitted here, you won't regret it.

Placements is good in this college. Basically, students are chosen on the basis of their ability Knowledge and Experience, many companies visited our college for Interview. The package depends on the Individual. And varies from person to person. Almost 50-60%of students got placements from this college and are happy with thier work. After I passed out from this college I started working in the company.

One of the prominent reason, that KJ Somaiya is located in Mumbai, which is a commercial capacity of India. Second it has a huge campus located in the heart of the city and around 50 acres .It is a well known brands, and alums are posted on top of companies like MD and CEO also have their own companies.

The institute has an impeccable placement record. Recruiter such as Accenture, Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Finserv come here as regular recruiters. The average placement package is approximately 9.8 lacs per annum as per the latest records.

Have good practical sessions and detailed curriculum. Admission process during 3016 was based on guidelines mentioned by dte. Currently they are conducting their own entrance exams. Faculties are quite helpful they will easily guide you when you ask for help. Campus placements have quite improved these years so getting placed is not a problem anymore.

Placements at the college at very good. Top companies visit the campus every year and offer very high packages. Colleg also works hard to get all the students placed. More than 80 companies visit the campus. Almost 100% of the batch gets placed.
