DSEU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Don't expect too much from this college. The placement of the civil department is not at all good. The placement of civil department is low as compared to computer science and IT . On average 52 to 55 students of civil engineering got placed. For other branches like CSE 60% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is about 9 LPA and the lowest Salary package is about 2.5 to 3 LPA. Many companies like Adobe, honda, Infosys and wipro, etc visited last 2 years.

This college is a govt. College so the teachers are very good and the tution fees is very less. The only disadvantage is that it doesn't have a good campus. Other than that everything like computers lab, mechanical labs are all in good conditions so students won't miss out much except in the sports area.

The fee of our college is affordable for middle class family. Also it is a government college. The placement is also quite good. Faculty of GBPEC is also very good. They are well qualified and supportive. But the campus and infrastructure is not good at all.

If we talk about placements then the placement starts from 7 semesters and select the students on a certain test and pi rounds. Companies keep minimum criteria for giving these test and pi rounds so we have to maintain our scores in academics otherwise that should not be ok for our careers. The companies that visited our college are Maruti Suzuki, Godrej, Infosys and many of their eligibility conditions vary according to their requirements. The highest package offered by a company was 7 LPA and the minimum was 2.4 LPA which is according to their knowledge and work quality. 70 % of students get placed in last year. My plans after my degree are also the same that is getting a job and settle as soon as possible.

From sem 7 you become eligible for Campus placements. Various companies like Mahindra, Godrej, MongoDB etc come to the college for placement purpose. For 100 students who sit for Campus placements around 90-95 get placements ranging from 12-15 lacs per annum to as low as 2.5 lacs per annum. Average package is of 4.1 lacs as of now. Many students like me prefer to study further and prepare for exams like GATE, CAT, UPSC etc. so many students don't sit for Campus placements.

The college is situated in a well connected place which is easy to reach. Also it is a government college and fees is very less. Students prefer this college over others due to to its less fees. Also so there is a new campus plan for this college which is to be executed hence it is going to develop more.

College is affiliated to ggsipu at my time time of taking admission and fees is less as compared to other colleges and it is easy for me to reach the college.The entire area is surrounded by metro.Teacher are well qualified and have great knowledge.

It's a govt recognised engineering college with very less fees. Also have very nice faculty. Placement of the college is quite good. It comes under Delhi institution. It is from one of the good Engineering colleges in delhi.

Most important that it was affordable. Secondly it is a government institute. Also, the location is good and easy to reach. The area is well connected and Govindpuri metro and Nehru place bus stand both are at walking distance.

First of all that this college is government and my financial conditions are not very good at that time and that a very good college I have hear about it and then at my time there are 3 colleges in GGSIPU are government and in that 3 colleges one is very far away from my house and in one of them I have not full fill the ranked that why the only and the last option is that ki aab tho G B pant govt engineering college hi Lena hoga bas
