What Students Say
Likes
- It is located in a major city. It is well known for Oil and Gas in which I can potentially enter. It was cheap.
- The courses option to take online/ in-person. It seems like a small thing but plays a huge impact especially when you are a International student. As you have to perfectly manage your time for everything.
Dislikes
- They don’t help you much with placements. They have resources but not that helpful for an International student as the companies won’t sponsor.
It is fairly good university. You will enjoy your time here.
Course Curriculum
Courses are pretty easy. You have to select what interests you and you can choose the subjects. Industry and research both options are available based on what you go for.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is approx. 50:1. They are mostly reachable and would help you.
Campus Life
Campus life is pretty chill. One thing or other is happening always. There are many groups/clubs if you decide to join something there is always something.
Placement
A lot of companies visit the college during fair, it's just how you convert them. Median salary for my major is 60-80K$
Accommodation
Most of the students stay off-campus, as it is cheap. 2 bedroom 2 bathroom shared among 4 people is mot common. This is most feasible and economical.
Exams
I took admissions during covid phase. So test scores didn't matter. I took IELTS and GRE. I submitted LOR. It mentioned how much I was interested and willing for my major.
Fees
25000
Scholarship
Yes. Based on my undergraduate scores I got Engineering Dean’s Scholarship.
