What Students Say
Likes
- College facilities , cost of living is affordable , college part time
Course Curriculum
- The course curriculum is fairly updated and relevant, covering key concepts aligned with current industry requirements. While there was no real-time industrial exposure or hands-on research experience, learning was supported through practical case studies, which helped in understanding real-world applications.
- The number of classes scheduled per day is flexible and depends on the student’s choice; I typically opted for 1–2 classes per day. The average class strength varies depending on the specific course, allowing for both small and relatively larger group interactions.
Admission Experience
- I got the course i choosed here & affordable fees.
- GRE - 324 (154 - verbal &170 - quant) , IELTS - 6.5
Faculty
- The faculty-to-student ratio varies depending on the program and course structure. Overall, the faculty and staff are knowledgeable, experienced, and well-versed in their respective subjects. Most professors are approachable and supportive, especially during office hours and academic discussions.
- They are generally open to helping students with coursework, guidance, and career-related advice.
Campus Life
- The university offers a vibrant campus life with a large campus and multiple facilities to support both academic and extracurricular activities. There are numerous student clubs and organizations, and a wide range of events and activities are regularly conducted, encouraging active student participation.
- The campus has well-equipped libraries that provide a good academic and research-oriented environment. In addition, the university offers excellent sports and fitness facilities, including gyms and basketball courts, which contribute to a healthy and balanced campus life.
Part Time Jobs
- Students typically earn hourly wages based on availability and role, and most on-campus part-time jobs are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Students generally apply for these jobs through the Handshake portal.
- The maximum number of working hours allowed per week is 20 hours during the academic term. Securing an on-campus part-time job can be competitive due to high demand and limited positions. Teaching Assistant (TA), Research Assistant (RA), and Departmental Assistant (DA) positions are also limited and are usually allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, making them competitive to secure.
Placement
- Currently, due to the slow job market in the USA, the percentage of students securing employment within six months of graduation is relatively low compared to previous years. However, it is not impossible to secure a job after completing a master’s degree. Success largely depends on having the right job-search strategies, skill development, and consistent effort.
- The average salary range for graduates varies based on role, location, and prior experience, but students who secure relevant positions typically earn salaries in line with industry standards for entry-level to mid-level roles.
- Most students find jobs through a combination of methods such as internships, networking, referrals, online job portals like LinkedIn and Indeed, and direct applications. Campus recruitment opportunities are limited, so proactive networking, personal branding, and avoiding over-dependence on consultancies play a key role in successfully securing employment.
