What Students Say
Likes
- Lots of students.
- Campus environment
- Variety of Clubs
Dislikes
- Some faculty options
- Lack of options for some courses or credits
Course Curriculum
- The course syllabus is somewhat relevant, while also, at times, in some places, not very up to date, still using and teaching older tech stacks. The organization of courses is also pretty bad for higher-level classes. Some programs can give you decent exposure.
- Class timings are very varied and, based on your choices, can be scheduled from 9 am to 5 pm. The average number of students ranges from 60 to even 100 or more sometimes.
Admission Experience
- The Research opportunities here and programs are pretty good, which kind of made me interested in the program here.
- My SAT score is: 1240/1600, My TOEFL score is: 108/120
Faculty
- Honestly can't give the exact number, but the ratio is too high. The faculty is approachable during and after classes.
Campus Life
- The campus life is pretty good with tons of events happening every time, with a lot of clubs for everyone's interests. Good gym and libraries with study spaces. The athletic facilities are pretty decent, with a music fest happening every semester.
Part Time Jobs
- For on-campus jobs, you have to apply through an online portal where the listings open up.
- Starting from sophomore years, it gets easier for undergrad students to get on-campus jobs with pay ranging from$14-$17 hourly. Max allowed hours are 25. The TA positions are comparatively easier to secure.
Placement
- Not able to comment currently, but the job market is bad as well.
Accommodation
- The first year was on-campus housing. There are a lot of options outside as well. Sharing rent can range between $350-650 based on the community you choose. If not, there are a lot of apartments for private rooms as well.
Exams
- SAT, TOEFL, and other than the Statement of Purpose and LOR.
Fees
- $46,000 dollars- yearly: pre-scholarship. Students can get upto 13,500 dollars scholarship yearly, which can bring down costs.
