• Most of the full-time job opportunities will be for federal students (citizens or Green Card holders).
• Securing On-campus work is bit typical.
• Salary is based on the individual program and ranges from $60,000 and more as starting.
• Usually students join a consultancy and learn something extra after graduation and secure a job from that consultancy.
• Career fairs will be conducted throughout the year.
• Most of the attending companies are government-based.
• I know some of the companies attending career fairs include Agate Construction, CGI, Consigli, Ellenby Technologies, JAGG, Johnson Matthey, Microchip technology, Radius Systems, T&M Associates, SR3 Engineers, etc.

• I found my accommodation through online WhatsApp groups from Rowan University.
• Monthly it would be $300, which includes few utilities.
• There are a lot of challenges for the rooms. One has to be prepared at least 2 months in advance for securing a room near the university, and I recommend students not to fall for any fraternities, and I urge future students to please confirm the location, housing, and renting details before signing a lease.
• I am staying 60 miles away from college.
• Most of the Indians usually stay within the 30-mile range of the college.

• Around 20% of students secure an employment within the first 6 months of graduation for computer science due to its high number of people searching for a job and low number of job openings.
• Someone wanting to work on a job right after graduation must put a lot of effort in finding an internship during their studies where they can develop skills and would be considered a good candidate by different organization for a job. If a student manages to secure a job position after graduation the minimum salary a CS student earns can be $100000 and can range anywhere up to $200000 on their first year.
• Job openings can be found on companies' sites almost every time and you must be constantly looking for the to get one and also university hold multiple career fair throughout the semester where you can talk and connect with big tech companies' recruiter and know more about the upcoming job opportunities.
• According to one of the TA that helped my Object-Oriented teacher who also worked as a network engineer in Verizon he said, "Securing a job is not all about your grades you have to work on your projects develop other skills apart from what you are taught.
• I did not have that good of a GPA, but I loved working on creating new projects and taught myself with new things on regular basic which worked at the end as I was approached by Verizon and works there as a network engineer intern.
• " Major companies like Verizon, Twitch, Riot, Amazon and Microsoft hires students from the university but you do have to work hard from your time as a student to even get close to securing a job at these companies. 
   

• As a first-year student you are required to stay on campus unless you have someone you know living under a 40mile radius. So, there was not so much of a challenge to find one as everything was listed out on universities website.
• The housing however wasn't cheap as it cost you around $4800 per semester which doesn't include your food which you have to pay at least $2450 for a single semester and most of the first-year Indian students live on campus because of rule implemented by university
   

So there are no placement opportunities as such the students have to find their own jobs, but for research people they do provide PhD and other funding can be obtained, depending upon your skills.

I chose this university as it was a Public university and it had great research opportunities. It was not that expensive as well and had great on campus job opportunities. The college life was great like I got exposure to the American culture and American sports since I was working at the recreational center as a basketball ref, and I made a lot of American friends being an international student, it was a great opportunity for me.

No placements as during recession its really difficult to get job have to find jobs off campus on your own.

It was a great experience with lot of fun and studies got introduced to American friends and culture.
