Campus Life

  • UCR only has 1 campus, which is in Riverside, San Bernardino County.
  • 2 libraries are on campus, in addition to SSC, which is a place where students can go and study. Sports grounds are available and the UCR
  • The gym is also a great place to play team sports with your friends. It has 2 pools, 2 floors worth of gym area, tennis, basketball, badminton courts, etc.
  • The Spring Splash is a popular event but sadly, its only for undergrad students. We also have the Winter/Spring banquets for the Business School students.

  • I found my accommodation online, through my university's website. The monthly was around $1000 with facilities like pool, study room, game room, gym, etc. I think I would suggest students seek on-campus accommodation; mine was off campus and it was almost 1 mile away from campus. But the grocery stores were nearby so there were no issues and it was a safe place with patrolling, etc.

Campus life is good, we have limited resources for the library, WIFI is there, in the same sports we have MBA SPORT, and yes the research facility is good.

Rates of apartments are rising high especially for places around the campus. I was fortunate to get the University apartment which is slightly better in terms of cost and space. 700 dollars per month.

I loved living in the dorms because it gave me a chance to get to know my peers, make new friends, and conveniently have the dining hall just downstairs. However, I did not enjoy the communal showers and toilets because I felt like there was less privacy.

Good school, a new environment and it had the major I wanted. I also wanted to choose a school far away from home so I know what it's like to handle independence.
