Likes
- PennState has a strong alumni network, which is useful for networking. It has a highly rated public ivy league and has good ongoing research. I liked the course structure, professors, and the project that was going on.
Dislikes
- I think the location of the university a bit of a negative. Its right in between nowhere. Sometimes can be difficult for students to get better opportunities. Having a college in big cities is a big plus because they get better opportunities
I think it was a good experience. Honestly its the student that it depends on how they work through the 2 years of college life. Being focused is very necessary. I talked to professors and tried to get some small projects under them, so as to better understand their subject and understand if I would like to work in that field or not. Starting early is good. No one here is going to push you to study.
