  • Yes, there is an app called navigate where you can access events happening daily on campus and there are a lot of free goodies.
  • There is an event called a career fair, which is of no use to international students. That can be skipped.
    • Health centre
    • Library
    • Gym
    • Sports
  • The Indian student council conducts all Indian festivals. Has performances and every country has a different student council.
  • Sports are mostly for local domestic students.

  • On campus Accommodation is expensive compared to off-campus. I would definitely recommend off-campus living.
  • $400-$500 is the rent.
  • WiFi common kitchen and sharing room
  • I had no challenges securing an accommodation. The lease agreement is important.
  • Stay off campus and save your expenses. Just half a mile from college.
  • Indian students stay in New Haven and west haven. It depends.

  • There were many events across the semester. There was an international students committee that organized some events like Holi, Diwali, etc. There were also cricket, football, and badminton matches. There were many clubs for dance, music, football, volleyball, badminton, and soccer. Every weekend there used to be some or other event on campus where we could participate.

  • I opted for off-campus, which was near my university. There are on-campus ones too but they are a bit costly. Off-campus, based on the house that we opt for, we have facilities. We also have dining on campus where we can pay and eat.
  • Connecticut has good transportation; because of that, we can take a house somewhat far too. In our house we had a common kitchen and 1.5 baths. Washer and dryer are in the house. All the utilities were included in the rent. We do have an additional cost for cleaning since we used to have a cleaning service that came biweekly.

This is the most interesting part we do have a lot of events going on every day on campus. We do celebrate every occasion irrespective of community caste religion etc. On-campus wifi is free and we do have a soccer stadium on campus and a few indoor games for refreshments. The gym is also there as a recreation for students.

I used to stay off campus with my friends we used to pay a rent of 3000 usd for a month. On-campus accommodation is a bit expensive for me as an international student. But the accommodation on campus is very nice. We have options to share or stay individually.

Has a good library and online library to access all the peer reviewed articles. It has WiFi all around the campus, extracurricular activities happen everyday on campus by different clubs, amazingly clean Gym, indoor badminton and indoor running track which is valuable during winters.

Pretty easy to get accommodation around campus within 5 miles. East transit facility which is very affordable, you can also get a pass from university. Easy to reach Indian groceries and few shopping malls. A decent shared accommodation range between $350-$ 400.

The university has a couple of events, but it's not the best university I've been as there are few cons that might affect the ranking.

Yeah, I believe people who are involved in campus activities and student clubs can enjoy very well with the fests and all. UNH has many student clubs, including sports, science, arts and religion ( one thing to love). I hate the medical facility. ( my first experience: I fell down in college and went to ask a bandage and they asked me to book an appointment????). Infrastructure - Too small for the publicity they do and for the fee they take.

I opened for off campus stay. For all the semesters, we stayed within a 2.5-mile radius of my college. Because, On-campus in UNH costs approximately 1000$. I managed my accommodation and living expenses from my loan and sometimes money sent from my parents. For off-campus accommodation, I suggest joining Telegram and WhatsApp groups to find good houses.
