• I found accommodation, after I landed to us my brother received me and he took me to University where we met few Indian students and they helped in finding accommodation. I have got Student Assistant and I payed my rents from the salary. I used my bank loan to pay college fee. Challenges are most of the people are black guys we need to share with them it's really not easy during the beginning days, later it becomes very easy and everything went well. • I opted for off campus since I had my friends staying off campus and also off campus is cheaper than on campus stays. But on campus is very safe.
• I found the accommodation with the help of my friends and there is also an Indian association solely helping the Indian international students.
• It was smooth finding the accommodation.
• For future students, I can definitely help them or help them reach out to students who can help them.
  My accommodation is 8 minutes walkable distance from the university. Most of the students stay in community apartments near the college or independent housing, which is also a good option.

I chose Purdue university particularly for this course in aerospace and aviation management as this course is highly valued in this university and has a great reputation as well and this clearly aligns with my career goals as well. I chose this university because of it's reputation, affordability, education. It is amongst Top 20 schools that have tuition frozen at 2010 levels and the education improved me immensely.

I chose this initially for the nursing program but changed my mind. I knew this college was a great school in general, especially well-known for engineering. I decided to stick to the psychology program since it was most interesting to me. I definitely think that the campus is very diverse and that there are a lot of opportunities for students to really find what they are in college for. There are many avenues that students can connect with other students on and several resources that are typically free of charge.

Good, there are wide opportunities open for the people in the field of industrial engineering. There are number of career fairs and industrial visits happen frequently.

Have to balance between academics and non academic stuff. Helps in learning task management and prioritization.

Many companies visit during career fairs. The biggest career fair, Industrial Roundtable, hosts over 200 companies every year. Large big name companies like Tesla and google come here often to recruit students.

I chose this program for the engineering ranking and the fact that Purdue is a well known name. My overall experience has been very good academically. purdue is a bit boring and not a party school since many students here are engineering students. The quality of education is extremely good though.

There will be campus fairs in both fall and Spring. In Fall 2023, around 500 companies had their stalls in the fair and in the Spring 2024, around 200 companies had their stalls.

Its very good. Purdue has a strong reputation that helps from Visa interviews to placements.

There are no placements in universities abroad. You apply separately to the companies you want. There are career fairs held twice a year.

Pretty good experience and would recommend fellow students who are coming to be prepared to tough it out as this is not an easy economy to do well in but if you struggle and work hard you will be able to succeed in any challenge.
