Mr. Javed Hashmi has been working as the Joint Secretary of Allenhouse Institute of Technology, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, which is a part of Superhouse Educational Foundation. He has a rich professional experience of 20+ years in the educational world and he has been with Allenhouse Institutes since their foundation. Also, he has done B.Tech and M.Tech from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya of Indore.

What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

My association with the education sector has been a wonderful and interesting journey and my experience is ingrained in the industry domain as I have spent 20+ years of my life as a Manufacturer at Superhouse Group Ltd. And during this tenure, we used to produce a wide range of products including Shoes, garments, belts and bags. Also, we had a state of the art Tannery at Unnao and Kanpur which got me curious about technology and ultimately my exposure to various training tours from different institutions led me to the education sector. 

Another factor of why I joined this dynamic educational sector is that I find it very satisfactory being a Teacher of students as we get abundant chances to impact their lives in a positive way.

And when I witness my students succeed, find employment, and even create job opportunities for others, it brings me a sense of fulfillment.

How does the curriculum of your college ensure the best practices of industry?

Our college's curriculum is meticulously designed to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills that are essential in a technology-driven world. And practical exposure is a central focus for us, hence 16-18 hands-on sessions per subject are conducted in each semester and during these sessions, students are taught about cutting-edge equipment such as high-performance liquid chromatography, chromatography, and spectrophotometers so that they can develop a deep understanding of industry tools and processes.

Apart from this, our experienced technical staff and well-structured practical approach distinguish our students by providing them with a competitive edge in the industry.

I firmly believe that dedicated students who prioritize their studies over other things, success is within reach. So I would suggest to my dear students and ambitious youths of our society to set clear and practically achievable goals for them and stay focused towards the same. Also, approach your dreams and education with earnestness, as true dedication and excellence are key ingredients for a successful future.

What do you see as the greatest strengths of your college?

Our college boasts an idyllic setting surrounded by lush green fields, providing a serene backdrop for learning. Apart from this, we have an ultra-modern infrastructure which features a well-equipped library with an extensive collection of books, journals, and periodicals, and sports facilities for promoting physical and mental well-being of students.

Along with this, an extensive range of extracurricular activities including cultural fests and technical events followed by industrial visits are regularly conducted by us to enrich the overall learning process of students, provide them a platform to showcase their unique talents and offer them real-world insights and developments. 

Last but not the least, we are devoted to nurturing creative thinking, imparting up-to-date knowledge of latest technologies to and fostering a refreshing atmosphere for their holistic development. So I would say, our infrastructure, activities we organize and learning opportunities we offer to students to make them ready for an uncertain world, makes us strong.
