Prof. Ln. L. Srinivas Reddy is the principal of Aristotle PG College. Prof. Reddy also works as an academic counselor at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad, GITAM University, Hyderabad, and Kakatiya University, Warangal.

He has more than 25 years of teaching experience and was conferred the “National Award for Teaching Excellence” by the Indo-American Education Summit. He also received the Mahatma Gandhi Peace Award from the Telangana State Senior Citizens Council in 2014.

Ln. Reddy has published over 30 articles, edited seven books, and authored three textbooks. He extensively takes part in various national and international seminars, workshops, training courses, and conferences. Furthermore, he also guides PhD, and M.Phil. scholars at Osmania University.

As the principal of Aristotle PG College, my philosophy of leadership revolves around empowering and nurturing students to become effective leaders themselves. I believe in creating a supportive and inclusive environment where students are encouraged to take ownership of their education and personal development.

My leadership style can be described as participative and transformational. I value input from students, faculty, and staff and actively involve them in decision-making processes. Additionally, I believe in leading by example. I strive to exhibit integrity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic, serving as a role model for students and encouraging them to uphold these values in their own endeavors.

As the Principal of Aristotle PG College offering MBA courses, how do you strategize about the key programs and plans for the marketing and administration of your college?

As the principal of Aristotle PG College, I am responsible for developing key programs and marketing strategies to promote our MBA courses. To ensure the quality of our MBA program, we prioritize implementing best practices from the industry. One of our main focuses is on student clubs; we have 16 clubs operating each semester. We also offer value-added programs such as idea launching, interesting interpretation development, industry innovation infrastructure, and gender equity replacement training in collaboration with industry experts. 

We also prioritize providing practical exposure to our students through the 100% implementation of summer internship programs. It is our commitment to continually refine our curriculum and stay up-to-date with the evolving demands of the industry, ensuring that our MBA program equips our students with the knowledge and skills needed for successful careers in their chosen fields.

When you first became the Principal of Aristotle PG College, what was your vision for the college? Has it evolved over time, and how far along in implementing that vision are you?

When I first became the principal of Aristotle PG College in 2009, my vision for the college was to transform it into a premier institution for MBA education. I wanted to provide students with a holistic learning experience that would equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their careers.

Over time, my vision has evolved as I gained a deeper understanding of our students and industry's needs and aspirations. I recognized the importance of staying updated with the latest developments in the business world and integrating them into our curriculum. As a result, we have focused on enhancing training and development opportunities for our students.

One of the significant steps we have taken is the regular organization of national and international conferences within our institution that provide a platform for students and faculty to engage with industry experts, exchange ideas, and explore emerging trends in the business world. Additionally, we have incorporated case studies into our teaching methods to bridge the gap between theory and real-world applications. While we have made substantial progress in implementing my vision for the college, I believe there is always room for improvement. 

What do you see as Aristotle PG College's greatest strengths, particularly in relation to the MBA program?

One of the greatest strengths of Aristotle PG College is its ability to provide sufficient placements for MBA graduates. The college has established strong connections with industry partners, enabling students to secure internships and job opportunities aligned with their career aspirations.

What are some of the biggest challenges you see, both for higher education in general and for Aristotle PG College specifically, when it comes to offering MBA courses?

One of the biggest challenges facing higher education is the need to stay relevant and adapt to the rapidly changing business landscape. The business world is constantly evolving, driven by advancements in technology, globalization, and shifting market dynamics. It becomes essential for MBA programs to keep pace with these changes. 

Another challenge is ensuring that the curriculum remains aligned with the industry's best practices and expectations. It requires continuous collaboration with industry experts, conducting regular market research, and incorporating case studies and practical experiences into the curriculum. 

Lastly, maintaining a strong network and alumni base is important for the long-term success of the MBA program. Engaging with alumni, fostering connections with industry leaders, and creating opportunities for networking and career development contribute to the overall reputation and standing of the college.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and aspiring students considering pursuing an MBA?

While obtaining an MBA degree is important, it is equally crucial to recognize that the certificate alone will not guarantee success. The business world is highly competitive, and it is essential to view competition as an opportunity for growth rather than a hindrance. Develop a positive mindset and strive to excel in your endeavors. Alongside your academic studies, invest in your personal and professional development. Enhance your leadership skills, critical thinking abilities, and problem-solving capabilities.
