What is your philosophy of leadership?
I don’t think academic leadership needs to have a specific style, aside from being an excellent mentor. As heads of departments and educators, we are always looking for ways to enhance education and create an industry-leading learning environment. Working with younger minds requires different approaches than using standard teaching and leadership techniques, in my opinion.
What are the challenges you faced/ are facing to uplift the quality of education of your department?
To be honest, there were very few, if any, resource challenges during the period of course completion pressure. These are some of the difficulties I have encountered, but the truth is that it is up to the teachers to keep their classes engaging. I am lucky in that I can keep my students interested in class by giving them a variety of assignments and activities. Our students provide feedback that we then work on.
How do you tend to establish a healthy relationship and environment in your institute?
Our college has a rich and extensive history spanning over 15 years. The established procedures in academics are reliable and untouchable. It has been simpler to establish a calm environment in the school where all parties—parents, recruiters, teachers, staff, and students—are taken into consideration since the people-centric approach was adopted.
How does the curriculum of your department ensure industrial practice?
The curriculum section is updated on our campus using a variety of techniques. For each person, we offer activities, internships, surveys, and assessments. Students who use these methods are therefore well prepared for the industry. They know what the industry requirements are and how they can meet them.

What extracurricular activities are organized in your college to enhance the skills of students?
For the purpose of improving students' skills, a variety of events are planned at our institute. We have curriculum-based seminars, workshops, and inter-college level competitions. Our students also take part in dance, singing, antakshari, face painting, office table decoration, and volunteering for government initiatives like blood donation drives, smart city projects, and traffic awareness campaigns.
How do you help students to cope with outside competition?
Students must be instilled with good sportsmanship. Every task should be completed by them, and they should gain knowledge of every area. Cultivate a competitive mindset in your work and studies. At the same time, learn how to work with others in a team towards a common goal. This will help immensely when working in an organisation.
Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and aspiring students?
Thinking about a life centered around work-study is imperative. Gain experience, expand your knowledge, and start early. Continue to improve your skills and seize every chance for the future. In order to prepare themselves, individuals must search for different resources that can teach them the necessary skills.
