Being a faculty of Lucknow model college of pharmacy, what are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?
We Consider students as our own child, as every child has a different nature, so we deal with them in their own way. We motivate, inspire them that they can do everything that they want to do in which they are interested in future goals to achieve. We also conduct various types of activities, and projects to the students to work on them for the development and growth of the students.
How do you tend to establish healthy relations with the students and fellow faculty?
We maintain a friendly environment in the institute, so that students as well as faculties feel free to discuss anything. We don’t pressurize faculties to do work. If the work is important, faculties do it without saying anything to the dignitaries. Also, we ask students about their subject related issues or faculties related, which allow students to feel free to talk with us or dignitaries. If any concern is raised, all faculty members sit together at one time and discuss and come up with solutions to the problems.
How do you strategize the curriculum and how often it gets updated to make it befitting for the students?
In every way we carry, we do events, seminars, and so on. Whatever new things have come in the medical industry, it has been medicines, or new technology in the medical industry. We make them aware about it and give them more practical knowledge so that they can understand well.
What are the best practices offered by the department to the students which help them gain necessary skills?
We provide internships, practical knowledge, projects and so on that will help students clarify their educational career as well as build their skills for a better future.

How do you help your student to cope up with the competition being so high in the outside world?
We provide extra lectures to engage the students for the preparation of the competition in the outside world. In which we tell them what kind of questions can come in the exams and study them briefly, solve their doubts if any in the class about the topics. So that they can understand the topic very well so that they can write in their own language. We also motivate them so that they can write the exam well.
When you came to college, what was your vision and how are you trying to achieve the same?
When I came to college, my primary focus was only the students. As I am the professor also, I planned how I should teach them in their own way, so that they can understand properly. I always use the new technique to teach the students, and also manage the things of the institute so that there’s no other things hampering it. We did the things in a practical way to teach the students so that they can gain knowledge. Whenever they pass out from college, or ready to go to market they should have the knowledge about the particular things.
What do you see as the department’s/ college’s greatest strengths and how it can be enhanced?
Our Institute's main aim is to provide a friendly and unique environment to the students for their development and learning. We also focus on discipline and ensure that our students must be disciplined in nature. As the fact is Discipline is key to success, we help students to live in discipline for their growth and success.
What valuable advice would you like to the students for them to have a prosperous career ahead?
I would like to advise the students that they should stay updated about the things. Update in the sense of jobs, exams, news in the particular field. In today’s time, technology is also available, so students will get any information within minutes. I just want to suggest that they spare their valuable time and look at news, jobs, and other interesting things.
