CAT 2025 Slot 2 Exam Analysis Live Updates

Collegedunia's on-ground team captured live reactions from CAT 2025 Slot 2 candidates right after they exited test centres on November 30, 2025. The feedback reveals the paper was "difficult" with “unexpected question patterns across sections”.

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode conducted Slot 2 from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm as part of today's three-session exam schedule.

Based on Collegedunia's analysis of on-ground feedback, the paper had 68 questions across three sections.

Students reported that :

VARC: Difficult - tougher than expected with new question varieties
DILR: Very difficult - lengthy with challenging sets
Quant: Lengthy and calculative
Overall Difficulty: Difficult to Very Difficult

Many first-time test-takers found the paper harder than expected, with most candidates expecting percentiles in the 60-70 range, though well-prepared students are targeting 99+ percentiles.

What happened after CAT 2025

CAT 2025 Answer Key will be published on iimcat.ac.in within 8-10 days of the exam. Candidates can access the provisional answer key and their response sheet by logging in with their CAT credentials.

During this time, a 3-4 day window will be available for candidates to challenge the provisional answer key. Each challenge requires a fee of INR 1,200. After reviewing all valid objections, IIM will release the final answer key alongside the results. The CAT 2025 Result is expected to be declared on January 3 or 4, 2025.
