- Being a public university, there are lots of multicultural activities and event ongoing all year round.
- The life on campus is vivid and filled with nature.
- You will always see something happen - may not be your department may not be something you know of, but students are constantly engaged with the community.

- Just like any other university, Trent University isn’t good for all courses (well if one university had everything, we all would only want to go there), there has to be some drawbacks.
- Trent is majorly known for its Environmental Science, Forensic Science, Chemical Sciences, and Nursing programs, placements and internship opportunities are highly inclined towards these, and for students in other programs its relatively difficult to find so, being in a smaller city.
- On-campus residence for first-year students (with limits) was guaranteed, so when I was a newcomer to Canada, it wasn't difficult to find accommodation with this rule. On-campus accommodation costs range between $1500 - $2000 monthly. Off-campus accommodation is cheaper, and there are platforms to find them too - FB Marketplace, Kijji, etc

- I found very narrow opportunities of networking and growth.
- I would highly reckon Peterborough Campus for future students
- I found it via Facebook Marketplace. The average cost is 650 CAD/ month for a private room. 400 CAD for sharing a room.
