Experience in Medical College Baroda

Likes

My college has best campus in vadodara city
There are air conditioner classroom present
The faculties are also well trained in nature

Dislikes

Hostel hygiene is not present in our college
There are high patients load hence teaching is affected
Sometimes results are declared lately this leads to stress

Course Curriculum Overview:

Recent NMC competency based curriculum my college focuses on building practical and clinical skills in addition to theoretical knowledge.There is high clinical exposure since it is connected with SSG Hospital,We have very much good clinical practice.

The ups and downs during mbbs

Likes

the academic is very very good compared to others.
students celebrate their birthdays very well.
sports facilities are also good so one physically be fit.

Dislikes

the campus looks no so good and grounds are wet after rain.
every year 3 terminal and one University exam makes life very hard.
the hectic life in this field is disappointing.

Placement Experience:

After passing the 4th year 1-year internship is compulsory with a stipend of 24k. After completing an internship one can work in a hospital as a junior doctor with a salary of around 60-70k. The next Target after completing MBBS is to crack NEET PG.

Best college of Gujarat to study MBBS.

Likes

First of all it is a govt.medical college, so least amount of fees
Government hospital has the highest amount of patient load, so you can learn a vast variety of diseases.
This college highly pays attention on the wards attendance

Dislikes

Campus infrastructure is very old but slowly it is getting better
Hostel infrastructure is also not good , many of the stidents prefer to stay at pg.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The total period of the course is 4.5+1 years. Faculty to students ratio is pretty good. All the faculties members are very helpful. 2 internal exams +1 preliminary exam and finally university exam. In all the internal exams you must score a minimum of 50 percent then only you are eligible for university exams. Faculties are quite strict with this rule.

A good start to my career

Likes

The faculty is well qualified and supportive.
The library is well oriented and has a lot of books.
The infrastructure is good and greenery is there.

Dislikes

The food in mess is very unhigenic and the menu is same.
The fee of this course is very high for some students.
There are very few fest held and college focuses on study only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it will give me so much money and also gives me chance to save patients' life. The faculty are well educated and also they are very helpful to us, they solve our every doubt.

Likes

Teaching method is so good also practical knowledge
Playing ground area extra curricular activities
It's high opportunity to get better placement

Dislikes

Building is too old in college and hostel area
Student section is not give answer satisfaction
Meal problem is one of the most suffered for students

A college that focuses only studies.

Likes

The professors are very helpful also they solve my every doubt.
The library building is very good and provide every books.
The college building is fully furnished and contain ac also.

Dislikes

The mess food is not quality contained and menu is same.
There are very less spots faculty are very less facilities.
There are 4 students per room in hostel which is congested.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always love to know about the human body and this made me fall in love with this course. This course helps me to find my passion for treating people's problems. There are 5-6 faculty members per department in my college which are equally distributed among children.

A boost to my good carrier

My library is very structured it provides all needed things
The infrastructure of my college is very good.
The faculty is very experienced and also very helpful here

Dislikes

Hostel mess is very unhygienic and not that good.
Hostel ventilation is not that good and drinking water is also not there
The sports facilities are very weak we only study here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My nature is to help people and I like to study the human body structure that was the main reason that I chose this course . The exams are very difficult you have to study throughout the course to pass the exam.

A boost to my carrier

Likes

The library in my college is very good I can peacefully study my whole course there. It also provides me all kind of books and computer access also it remains open all day so I can study at night also. This is very helpful during my exam times .
The infrastructure of my college building is good I can admire it.
The faculty here is so good they help us solving our doubts willingly.

Dislikes

The food in my hostel mess is very unhigenic .
There are very less annual fest organized in my college which is so boring.
The scholership info is not given by college staff we have to fine by own.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always loved to treat and help people so I chose this course this course gives me a chance to win blessings from people's hearts. There are 5-6 faculty members per subject in my college which are sufficient in my opinion.

The hostel is near my college which feels good.
The library is very big and i find comfort there
The professors are well qualified and they teach very well

Dislikes

The food in mess is not that healthy and i have to avoid it
Extra curricular activities are not there which feels boring
Course fee is very high that is unaffordable for some students.

I always love to cure people I feel enjoyed doing that so I chose this course. There are 4 teachers per subject between 250 students which is quite enough. The faculty are very much qualified and they are good.

Baroda medical College

Likes

Very nice campus, availability of facilities etc..
Library, reading room facilities, and auditorium
Very knowledgeable and helpful faculty members.

Dislikes

Management of classesand lecture schedule
Due to more no. Of students one to one interaction between students and faculty is difficult

This course is of total 5.5 years in which there is a compulsory internship for 1 year in the college itself. And faculty were very helpful and are always available to solve our queries. The exam pattern is 2 internals 1 prelim and 1 final University exam.
