Faculty:

The course structure is very hectic. Obviously because it is MBBS. But it could have been little less stressful for the students studying in there. We have to give a lot of exams also. And plus the viva too, for all the subjects combined.

The teachers usually use traditional methods for teaching like textbooks and lecturers. They should really focus on using digital methods of learning.

Student Snaps:

in our college, there are quarterly exams first, there is an internal assessment then after four months we have the second internal assessment and after four months we have the final professional examination. The attendance is one of the major criteria in the eligibility of examination a minimum of 75% is required to write the examination and passing marks is hundred out of 200 hundred is for the written exam and hundreds for the practical exam. The faculty here is very experienced to provide us with all the necessary information during our exams and during our lectures they also helps us in a regular Hospital duties

Tanweer Iqbal sir(physio)teaches amazing in 1st year.His lectures are always lucid and enlightening. There are 2 pcts,2 internal exams,1 pre uni and then university exams in 1st prof

Katihar Medical College : The Review

The faculties here are very highly qualified without a doubt. 90% of the faculties are doctors and the rest are Msc and PhDs. The faculty to student ratio is pretty good, even too much sometimes. Their approach to teaching is pretty helpful. They don't just give lecture and leave, they interact with you and try to make you memorise it all at once. If you have any doubts they are welcoming of you to ask them in their respective offices. Their doctor's background enables them to teach with examples of their first hand clinical experiences, which are really helpful. Interactions with teacher is very easy here, you could just enter the department and shoot your questions to them. They are very approachable. The post graduates who teach usnduring our ward duty are just like your elder sibling/ friend who wants your best results. Overall, I'd say this college excells in this category of faculties.

My MBBS Journey

The faculty of the college is excellent and has huge experience in their respective fields. The Head of Department, Dr. Sanjay Kumar Sinha, has a working experience of more than 17 years. All the assistant and associate professors are extremely qualified and guides you through all the course work.

Best college for MBBS

Overall faculty is good .The lectures all are well qualified and have ability to reach students.also there are minimum 2 lectures for each course .Labs have also good lab technicians.They have many years of experience in the field of medicine and give their best to clear the students doubts .
