Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

As i am doing medical degree there is nothing wrong i can talk about it. Ity one of noble profession and we abide by it. All our curriculum includes teching ethics, knowledge, skills, rapo development etc. we all spend our most hours in hospitals rother than class so it helps us to make ourselves best for our future career. But when it comes to exam it's again headache very vast syllabus to read, stress, no sleeps.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Our college offers intership programs for evey student studying in their college. They got their own hospital and our 4.5 year course they made us to work as intern in their hospital to gain better knowledge and social experience before we expose to real world. Amd it is compulsory that every medico should do intership as meny by government.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am doing my medical at ssims davangere, it is private college. Fee ranges from 189000per yr( gov seat) to more than 25 lakh per yr for management seat. I got semi private seat allotted through kea, my fees is 10 lakh per yr and i stay in hostel it's fee is 45000 per year . Total my 5 year course fee can go up to 50 lakh. Medical students get scholarship worth 60000 yearly given by state government.

Campus Life

4.5

Our college got very big and comfortable campus extending up to 5 to 6 acres. And it got big foot ball ground along with volleyball and basketball courts too. Our colley supports the sports and other co curriculum activities for students well being entertainment. Our college hosts 4 evnts yearly namely ssims fest, cultural inauguration, sports day , ganapati celebration, graduation day. Our college got ss care trust run by prabha mallikarjun honorable MP ,where our students actively participate in it

Hostel Facilities

3.5

My hotel fees is not that high it is 41500 per year excluding mess fees which u have to pay monthly, which is around 4000.our hostel is neatly kept and well managed by management. Every room got 3 befs where u can stay in 2 sharing or 3 sharing. Food is good u will get nutritious food daily like chapati rice curd butter milk and gravy with whole lot of cereals and vegetables.

Admission

I actually got admitted to Dayanand sagar engineering college Bengaluru. But later i got seat allotted in medical college so i have to leave previous college and got admitted to ssims and rc. Seat allotment process goes by merit list so whichever college u get allotted to according to your marks in NEET and category ,u have to accept it, if not u should wait for next counseling or take gap to score good for best college.

Faculty

4.5

As of my knowledge our college got best teaching faculty, with good behaviour. Every department got 15 to 20 variables professors. Surgery is the subjest i like most and hod of surgery department is the one whom i like because of his experience and teaching skills. There are no such thing called not liking the faculty but some times pharmacology makes me feel so. Exams are conducted by university ( rguhs) yearly 2 time one main and other supply.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
