Academy of Technology Hooghly Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I made a research of Academy of Technology before admission. It is quite a good college. Placement opportunity is quite good here. If you are from CSE, IT or ECE then your placement opportunities are more than other core departments. As a AOTian I will suggest that if you are trying to pursue your B.Tech degree from AOT then take admission in CSE, IT or ECE department. Software companies visit here in a large number. So you will definitely get a job.

I choose this college because of placement facility.and due to fees comfort. Environment is very excellent due to greenery.station is also near college.so student can easily come to attend the classes and also they save transportation charges, canteen facilities is very good. Professor are also very polite in nature and they guide very well.

After the 6th semester, placement process starts. All the student with 6.5 GPA or above are eligible for the placement, many companies visit our college, so it is very easy to get placement, the highest package is 12 lakh, and the average is 4 lakh lowest is 3 lakh. Currently, I am in 2nd year so definitely, I am looking for a good job after BTech.

Campus placements start 6 semester onwards. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, IBM come for placements. The highest package offered is around 8 lakhs per annum and the lowest is around 2.5 lakhs per annum. Students are suggested to have a minimum CGPA of 6.75 and above to sit for campus placement. I planned to go for higher education.

Students become eligible for campus placement in the 3rd year. The companies which visit the campus include Wipro, TCS, ITC, Amazon, Infosys etc. The on-campus placement opportunities are amazing. The highest package is about 10 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 4 lakhs per annum. In CSE, IT and ECE, more than 95% of students get placed.

The reasons are: 1. The college is very near to my house. 2. The fees is affordable. 3. It ranks among the top 10 colleges in West Bengal. 4. My WBJEE rank surpassed the eligibility criteria for my desired course ( BTech in CSE)

The educational system and all services like practical lab, gaming, gym, as well as library and xerox and printing center are quiet good.The whole Campus is very impressive. This college is very good according to its all dimensions in all over eastern india.

Our college placement is outstanding than any other college in west bengal CSE and IT and ECE students will get 100 % placement CSE& IT branch average like 4 lakh per year and ECE like 3.6 per annum Highest will like 5-6 lakhs per annum other departments placement is not bad core companies visit our college and if you are electrical mechanical or electronic instrumental student then your placement percentage will be like 70-75% and 60% chance that you will get job in IT companies.

From 7th sem anyone seat for campusing. Most placed students are from computer science engineering. Although more than 90% of total students placed from the college. The companies like TCS, Capgemini, cognizant, tech Mahindra, ITC, Wipro, persistent, Amazon, godrage, simens many more. The avg package is around 4.5 LPA.
