Remarks
I made a research of Academy of Technology before admission. It is quite a good college. Placement opportunity is quite good here. If you are from CSE, IT or ECE then your placement opportunities are more than other core departments. As a AOTian I will suggest that if you are trying to pursue your B.Tech degree from AOT then take admission in CSE, IT or ECE department. Software companies visit here in a large number. So you will definitely get a job.
Course Curriculum Overview
So according to my opinion all the course curriculum, academics and faculties were so good. Even though if you are facing any issues regarding any subjects you can go to your professor and ask him/her about the problem any time. They will definitely solve your problem. Hence do not hesitate to ask questions. The academics will be so enjoyable during your college life. If you really enjoy learning you can use our digital library room. Free internet facility is there. You can spend your quality time with yourself there.
Internships Opportunities
For the Corona - Pandemic we have to opt internship in online from different platforms. Some people opted internships from Internshala which is very popular. Some people take trainings from online websites like Coursera, Edx, Udemy. These all are very popular website. And college paid the courses fees for the training purposes.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunity is so good in our college. Main reason for that thousands of students from different places come to our college. From last of the sixth semester you will sit for campus placement. If you are having a grade point more than 6.75 then only you are eligible for campus placement. So keep in mind about that.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure is almost same as other colleges. Per semester around 40,000. So in total 8 semesters are there. So total tuition fees are almost : 40000 * 8 = 3,20,000. Then there is a training fees of total 30,000 for campus placements. Total till now 3,50,000. And some other costs. So on average it is 360000 around.
Campus Life
For sure first thing you will love in this college is that Greenery campus. Healthy campus life you will have here. There is a huge pool inside our college. During College festivals - Arcadia you will definitely have fun. You will find a healthy social life here. No clubs in the college area. Infrastructure is so good. Basket ball court, Football ground and Volleyball court is there inside the campus.
Admission
No. It is completely based on JEE Mains rank or West Bengal JEE rank. If you get on an average a good rank ( for WBJEE rank within 20,000 ) then you will get the Computer Science Department for sure. I will suggest that if you are trying to pursue your B.Tech degree from AOT then take admission in CSE, IT or ECE department. Software companies visit here in a large number. So you will definitely get a job.
