BIT should be the dream of yours .

Likes

Campus is very good , faculties are good they are always ready for help.
Placement is very good in this college , around everyone get placed .
Alumni network of this college is very strong of this college .

Dislikes

I think govt. should give more funding to this college, funding is low .
In college their is no management for developing infrastructure of the college.
Govt should provides more research facilities in our college.

Placement Experience:

Good number of companies come in on campus placement and they also offer good hand some salary. There are three category of the company -core , it -sector , coaching and consultancy. Hihest package is 52 lakh and lowest is 3.3 lakh.

I liked the Faculties and Infrastructure.

Placement Experience:

The placements are pretty good and a lot of companies come to the college to evaluate the students. Average package is of Rs.750000. Highest package last year was 5500000. There is 100% placement rate for the Mechanical branch. I will go for the Governmet Jobs and try to crack Engineering Services exam conducted by UPSC.

I liked the friendly campus nature of institute.
I liked the ragging free campus in our college.
I liked the supporting nature of teacher.

Dislikes

I disliked the location of the institute.
I disliked the jungle in the campus of the bit sindri.
I disliked the transport availability in campus.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year campus placements is available for All 3rd year student and our average campus placement in our collage is 750000 . Many campany visited in our campus like Google, TATA , Akash, and many more.

BIT Sindri where your future is assured in low academic fees

Likes

Campus: bit campus is vast and there is separate labs for every course and subject
Infrastructure and faculty: infrastructure is good and faculty is experinced
Low fees: fees is very low as compared to iits and nits

Dislikes

Old infrastructure: BIT is very old institute and some department buliding are old

Placement Experience:

Students majorly sit for placement in their 4th year. Many national and international companies visit our campus for placements. Few days back one our seniors recruited in qualcomm and many also make it to other renowed companies. One of Our senior has got an offer of 50+ lpa and which is also the highest package offered last year. And placement season is ongoing tbis year. Majority of students get placed.

The engineering life at BIT sindri.

Likes

The support of faculty members was great , they do not force you to attend every class if you are doing something extra like GATE.
The campus life is good you can roam around in the campus .
The placement is quite good considering the rank in the jee.

Dislikes

No wifi in hostels , maybe installed by 2030 or 2050 I don't know.
Preference of girls candidate over boys in campus placement, but that has nothing to do with college , it all depends on companies.

Placement Experience:

Placement in core branches like electrical mechanical mining and metallurgy is phenomenal almost every student is placed (eligible ones). This college is a boon for girls , they don't have to do anything here they have to just come take admission enjoy and get placed for 7 to 12 lpa job and that's it . But boys has to do a little hard work . The highest package was 52 lpa by deshaw and lowest was obviously TCS ninja , the average was between 6 to 7 lpa.

Ample amount of opportunities and good environment
Good facilities of hostel and friendly environment
Library is also well equiped anf supportive faculty members

Dislikes

Restriction in timing to enter the hostel
Its not closed campus so ther is a sense of insecurity

Placement Experience:

The placements are good and students gets many opportunities for internships. The training and placement cell is very active and is doing very good job with number of companies visiting the institute incrasing each year

BITIANS SECOND TO NONE

Likes

Alumni connection is very rich and seniors are very helpful in giving support and guidance.
BITIANS are second to none this tag is very popular and we have proved it many times.
the culture of bit which is full of greenery .

Dislikes

Faculty are not so good ,boys have to look for coaching for gate preparation
Infrastructure should be renewed and there should be some parks
sports ground is not good this is just like a open field

Course Curriculum Overview:

there are two mid sem exam in each semester and one end sem exam in each sem .Also before end sem ,there is a viva for the lab one performed in the semester . Exam are moderate if one attend class regularly and follow the notes of teacher then it will be easy to score good marks in exam.

College infrastructure is very good as it is spread in 250 acres
Alumni network is also very good and they help students
Senior junior culture is very good and outstanding

Dislikes

Mess foodis quite average but we manage it

Placements in our college is very good last year vedanta gave package of 1600000 to twenty one students in a batch of 60 students on the post of engineer and all the rest also got a good placement options

The faculty of this college is good and brilliant
The campus life of all students are good
The placement is also good in this college as compare to another college

Dislikes

The climate of this area is not well there are some pollution
The problem of electricity and the scarcity of water in hostel
Ragging is occurred now by our seniors that is not well

The placement of this college is much better than my expectations nearly about hundred percent of students get placed in different companies like Amazon, flipkart, vedanta, tata steel etc are there many company

The ratio of girls:boys are very less that's the main reason

Placement Experience:

Students are from 6th sem are eligible for the placement and they can get PPOs. Companies like Google,Tata and many companies also visit our campus and offered placement. The highest package in previous year was 55 lpa and the the average is 8 lpa by the reputed companies. About 95 percent students are get placed in previous year and that's a great number. After my degree my plan is to crack GATE and get into PSUs.

From what I’ve heard from my friend who is currently a student of BIT Sindri, there is ample time for students to prepare for exams like UPSC, GATE, etc.

The area of the campus is about 400 acres. BIT Sindri is a good engineering college and is located in the town of Sindri which is 25km from the city of Dhanbad.
BIT Sindri has a total of 26 hostels for boys and girls. The different departments of the college are allotted their own buildings for their classes and activities.
There is an auditorium on the campus. There have been some reports of ragging, though, in the first and second years.
The best departments in the institute by far are mining and metal because of good placements.
Lately, a number of good companies are visiting the campus so the statistics of placements are improving by the day. The average CTC has been recorded to be 4.51 LPA while the highest salary is 10.12 LPA.

The institute also holds an enviable rank amongst other engineering institutes of Jharkhand.
