Calcutta Institute of Technology Howrah Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

It is heard from my senior, I listened to him that placement of my college is good. And we'll know companies like Infosys, TCS and, HCl come to my college campus for placement. My senior told me they get a good package of 1.2M INR from 'Jaro', 75% of students are placed by getting a degree.

From 4th year students are eligible for placement. Companies visited are TCS, Amazon, HCL etc our college has special collaboration with Infosys, previously they had with Heritage, They also offer internship and free courses to the studies. No of offers made this year is 18/19. Highlights package of this college was 12 lacs form JARO . This year 75% of students were placed. I approach everything in life with positive attitude and lots of enthusiasm, my goal is start to my career before I get my degree.

Students after the 7th semester apply for placements in many IT companies. Students get placed in companies like HCL, Infosys, TCS from our college. I would like to do my M.Tech too after getting my B.Tech degree.

Our college placements are good too. Many big companies like Sony, Infosys, Tata, BOC, Wipro Infotech, Birla Soft, Accenture etc. Come to our college for placements. 50% of students get placements approximately. Their min salary is 1.8 LPA and their max salary is 4 LPA. After completing my degree, I want to pursue a higher degree.

Overall 1 can rate 7 out of 10. The location is good. It is beside highway so no traffic are there and also close from station. There are many shops near college. Faculties are good. Transport are available all time.

It's good to study there. The campus is located near the national highway.

Because my cousin brother was studying B.Pharm from a different college but in same campus. For security purposes my parents sent me to there with him to study engineering. Nothing to like about that college. That college brought fake campusings and played with several students future. If you want to suggest anyone this college then please don't. If he/she has 80% above on Secondary and Higher secondary exams and wanted to study in TFW Fees then only he can join.

I am choose this college because it is belong to the top 10 govt polytechnic college in west bengal and highest placement in mechanical engineering and other dicipline. This college situated heart of the calcutta 110 s.n.banerjee road kol 13.Have a good faculty and pleasant campus,wounderful workshop and laboratory.

Tech fest, College fest and freshers party were organised. College Festivals were entertaining. Faculties are friendly. They explain reason behind questions very well. They gives the opportunity to work in technology based well established companies & MNC's. The companies: Wipro, Infosys, Exide, Cogeme, Optimus etc. Comes to our college to take students to work with them.
