GCET Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

i choose this course because i have an interest in it. the faculty is good but as i did only online class so i can't tell more about this. they take mostly qualified teachers some of them are very polite and has the best technique to teach some of them continuing their old method for teaching but i can say overall its good

In the galgotias college of engineering and technology, the placement is good for every branch. In this college approx 90-95% of students are placed. Students are placed in the sixth or seventh semester. There are many companies visited like Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Deloitte, etc.

3rd-year students become eligible for internships and other small jobs. From the starting of the fourth year, students become eligible for in-campus placements. Companies like Tech-Mahindra, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant are among the famous mass recruiters that approach our college for placements. The highest package placement up till now has been that of 15LPA and the average is of 4 LPA. From the CSE branch, 90-95% of students get placed at Galgotia College. My plan is to attempt for a good rank in the GATE exam and go for higher studies (MTech) after my graduation.

From 6th-semester students start becoming eligible for stipend-based internships and other things and from 7th semester they are eligible for direct out campus placements. Roughly around 15-20 companies visit the college for campus recruitments. Among them renowned ones which visit the college for in campus placement include- TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. The highest packages offered are in the range of 10-15 LPA and average lie between 3-6 LPA.

Many students were recruited by best companies . There are many companies which comes to our college . The most students were recruited this year by Cognizant. And also companies like Wipro , TCS , Infosys , Accenture took many students .

Course Curriculum is very good. And the faculty are very knowledgeable & humble. They give their full effort in solving our doubts. Due to the Covid pandemic, our 1st year was a bit short as compared to the normal academic calendar. Our 1st year got completed in almost 9 months. Exams were of moderate difficulty level.

Placement is very good as compared to another private college, most of the companies come to college for on-campus placement and about 75% of students got placed every year, the average package is around 4-5lpa and the highest always vary from 10 -15 lpa either on or off-campus.

From 3 rd year, students are eligible to attend campus placements. Companies that visited galgotias college are - WIPRO, COGNIZANT. The number of offers made by the company is 1 in a year. The average package is 3-4 LPA. Plan after getting a degree, do a job in a reputed company.

The placement starts from 3rd year mainly and many students get placed in big companies like amazon Infosys etc with nice packages like 10 to 15 lakhs also the highest package almost got to 40 lakhs depending on your skills and capabilities. Almost 95 % of students get placed. I am focusing on getting a good package and to do my master's side by side.

I chose mechanical because it's my keen interest to know more about the mechanism and machines. Faculties are good as compared to students ratio. We have 3 sections comprised of 170 students approx. Most of the faculties having Ph.D. degrees and are quite knowledgeable in their respective field. Exams were conducted on a regular basis and the paper level is medium.
