Yes, there are opportunities for scholarship for beneficiaries and eligible students.
Some professor are very much excellent and they teach us in friendly manger
The annual fest named akankhya conducted here with great enjoy.this is very famouse fest in our locality.gita autonomous college is the best college for your campus memory.every year we celebrate fest with great enjoy.

Hostel facilities are average hostel foods are not so good but enviorment is good hostel registration is already inclueded in admission form hostel is avearage meal is also average hostels are not clean that much so i considered it average
Teacher is very strict. in exam teacher are like very angry
This placement condition in this college is now days is very poor.

Review on gita Autonomous college

Likes

Food in the canteen is very nice and affordable
The infrastructure and classrooms are very good
The fees is very affordable for a BTech course

Dislikes

The faculty is not up to the mark for an engineering college
The number of local students are too much and there are no outsiders
The uniform is that of a government school and does not look like an Engineering College

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is okay nothing other than any private college of the city or state. Whatever it is being thought to us is the syllabus of any other Engineering College across India do the curriculum for the first year and 2nd year is quit lengthy but it does the job

Likes

Infrastructure of the college is good really nice
Food in the mess is good according to the price
The affordability of the college fee and hostel fee

Dislikes

No clubs or society in the college are present
No good canteen in the college campus is given
Placements are very very vey bad extremely bad

Placement Experience:

Th placement is very bad in the college It provides placements just for the name sake The seniors of the fourth year are only eligible for the placements in campus the third year studnsts can do internship but on their own, placement cell won't help

Likes

Infrastructure, being so beautiful and college being so green
The diversity of the students in campus is a nice thing
The fee being so affordable for all kinds people

Dislikes

The faculty not good enough for engineering college
The lack of clubs and societies in the college
The placements being a scam is lot in the list

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is really bad. For 2024 batch only a hand full of people have been placed and the students have been offer really bad jobs. The lowest package being 1.2 lpa and the highest being 7.3. The placement also is a scam sometimes

Likes

Academic standards - till now till now I have not faced any problem regarding study.facuties are quick to help u out if u do
Opportunity- they provide us the opportunity and motivate us to take part in different extra curricular activities as well as study wise
Faculties -I can't guarantee that every teacher are friendly but with my experience they are always there for you when you need them

Dislikes

Hygienic (washroom)- well the space the provides is unhygienic as well as pretty uncomfortable being a girl child
Mental health - I think this should kind of focus on mental health condition of the students as people will stressed out if they will only study

Placement Experience:

College have lot of facilities to upgrade the skills and knowledge for the students so that this too out more confident during the placement evaluation. They also provide us with special English speaking training to improve our English vocabulary and how to manage your body language in front of the interviewer.

A great college

Likes

College campus environment is very familiar
Also the faculties are very much supportive
College have a central library and that is the main source of attraction

Dislikes

There is most probably nothing about the college that I disliked

Placement Experience:

Different type of companies comes for campus like hyscalar, odi tech, Qutos, Collabera etc. Also some of the students placed is company like cognizant . So overally campus placement are very good but it totally depends on the students how proficiently they can represent there knowledge and skill infront of the recruiter.

Life at GITMA, Bhubaneshwar

Likes

The campus is big and spacious and is full of plants.
The examinations are easy to pass so that's helps a lot.
All the faculties are very friendly and cooperative,

Dislikes

Courses are not completed on time so that's a big demerit.
The college campus doesn't have any fun activities.
There is no internship and placement opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was simple. I choose this course because I want to make career in marketing. The faculty:student ration is 1:30. All the faculties have industry experience and has good teaching style. Exams generally happen time.

Likes

The faculty members are good as they behave good with every students
The library is nice. Many books and journals are available there.
The environment is good and the park is awesome

Dislikes

The campus playground is not proper and not maintained
They do not allow students to go in campus after college hours
Different types of clubs in college are not maintained well

Placement Experience:

Students from 6th semester onwards can apply for campus placements. Minimum 25 companies visits the college and 75% of the students got placed. Highest package was 9 LPA from Byju's and average package was 3-3.2 LPA fram TCS, Infosys, Oracle, Wipro, etc. My plans after completing B. Tech is to do M. Tech.

Experience of adulthood

Likes

Teachers try to build up confidence in students.
Teachers are strict but friendly too like they listen to us if we are facing any problems.
Faculty provides question banks before examination. So, that students can practice

Dislikes

Students from different states faces difficulty in understanding their language as the teacher starts speaking in their local language sometimes.
The college doesn't have lift so, you have to take stairs for even 5th or 6th floor.
Students from first year specially girls are not allowed to go outside the hostel because of which we get troubled if we have ordered something online.

Placement Experience:

Students from 6th semester are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visits our college and 75% of the students got placed mostly. Highest package was 9 LPA from Byju'sand average package was 3-4 LPA .

Likes

Faculty is good as they explains the topics thoroughly and their behavior is also nice.
Infrastructure is great . Electricity is available 24×7
The library is very fascinating as the environment is very peaceful.

Dislikes

The college doesn't have a proper playground.
They don't allow first year student to go in the campus after classes.
They don't give the extra food while eating

Placement Experience:

My experience

Likes

At first i liked the infrastructure of the college a lot specially the library.
I liked the teachers and their way of teachings are well understood by the students.
I liked the hostel facilities as well as it was spacious and comfortable.

Dislikes

I didn't liked the behavior of some students.
I didn't liked the very less freedom that they give specifically to the 1st sem students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

A chose this course as I was so interested in it and also this course offers maximum placement as per my knowledge. As I'm in 2nd sem now , there were 7 faculties in 1st sem with per 60 students. The qualifications of the faculties are mtech and PhD with quite good teaching experience. The teaching method of the faculties are well understood by the students. The mid-term exams are conducted after 2 months and the end-terms are conducted after 4 months. The exams are not that difficult to pass it depends on the students how they prepare but if they will regularly attend the classes they will easily pass.
