Admission to the college is based on the CET Exam, followed by a counselling process where colleges are assigned according to the candidate's rank. There are two types of counselling: Online, with up to three rounds, and an Open House session for those not placed online. Faculty reviews are mixed, with ratings between 6 and 7 out of 10. The B.Tech Computer Science program costs around INR 87,000 per year, and scholarships are available for financially constrained students.
Transportation fees are about INR 25,000, but the bus conditions are poor. The college, offering a GGSIPU degree, is in its 15th year and has average infrastructure with good IT labs. Last year, companies like Nucleus Software and Infosys visited, but on-campus placements have declined since 2014-15, leading students to seek off-campus opportunities often outside Delhi. The Training & Placement Cell is active, but results have been unsatisfactory. Internships, including foreign and in-house options, are available, though in-house training may be too brief for meaningful learning.
Scholarships are offered based on Central Government norms, with additional aid available through a trust. Student loans depend on CGPA. Claims of management funding for student projects exist, but fund availability can vary.
