IGIT Sarang Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

A student in this college is eligible for campus placement in his/her 7th semester. But the percentage of students getting placed is not that high with an average of 60 percent of students getting placed with an average package of 4-5 lpa.

From the 7th sem students become eligible for placements and many companies do visit but the prominent companies are TATA, ADANI, WIPRO, ASIN MITTAL, etc. This year the highest package from our college is 10 lpa, and 60%of students get placement every year.

Various campus drives are conducted by, Adani, tata power, TCS, A&N, etc companies. The average package varies between, 7 lpa. More than 70% of the student get placement in campus drives. we can plan for GATE, CAT, and other exams.

The facilities are highly trained and well educated and are well aware of the modern technologies and syllabus. Most of the faculties are IITians. The exams and viva are conducted from time to time by the college.

The facilities are quite friendly and have depth knowledge regarding the course and syllabus. Each class comprises 65 students and the classes are generally from 8.50 to 4.30 with a break of 2hr for lunch.

The faculties were well trained and educated. They have high skills in teaching and we'll be acquainted with the modern curriculum. Each class consists of 65 students approximately. There are 2 internal exams and one sem exam in a complete semester.

The facilities were well-trained and had depth knowledge regarding the course and syllabus curriculum. Two internal and one sem exam covers up the whole semester. The level of the exam was medium to hard.

I chose this course because I have been interested in this field for so long and wanted to pursue a carrier in it. The faculty-student ratio of our branch is 1:25 approximately. Most of the faculties are well qualified and their teaching method is quite practical and to the point which helps us in giving a practical approach and knowledge towards the things we required. But some of them are on a contractual basis so it self-defines their teaching quality is not that great but it is good though. The exams are conducted on a semester basis and it is very very easy to pass them.

Technically it offers campus placement in which only a bunch of students get placed. the main problem is that the amount of companies coming for taking placement is very less ..the training and placement cell has to work on it to increase the number of companies investing in our college because many very bright students don't get a placement and have to opt for off-campus placements.

From the 5th semester, MCA students are eligible for placements. As I mentioned before the placement statistics are very low for mca students. If any student won't able to place in campus placements which are very low, they have to search for jobs on their own.
