IEM Kolkata (IEM Saltlake) Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I chose IEM on the basis of internet reviews of different websites and college reviewing experts. On these websites, it was reviewed as one of the best private institute in west bengal and some of them even considered it as no. One institute of eastern part of India so such reviews drew my attention towards this college. Well on a real basis the college it not that great that is shown in some websites it has some number of cons that make this college an average college in India. I took help of the Nirf ranking and college information provided by the government of India on their websites and also some websites like career360.com collegedunia.in quora.in and some YouTube channels that does college reviews

Students become eligible for placements from 7th semester. A variety of companies both mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro and big names like Samsung, Adobe has visited. The highest package is as high as 40 lakhs p.a. and the average is somewhat around 4.5 lakhs. The placement percentage for computer science is 95% , which is really good. I plan to go for higher studies.

Since I was not getting a good branch or rather a top branch in Jadavpur University I came here. It is renowned as the second best college under WBJEE that is why I came here. Moreover here the placements are decent and I have not got a good rank in Maine so I came here.

This college is the oldest private Engineering Institute of West Bengal. All the classrooms are equipped with projectors and big black boards. The entire College campus is supported with high speed Wi-Fi facility. Laboratories are equipped with all types of experiments at ups and modern day high-end technologically advanced kits (3D printer). Inhouse canteen is present which variety of foods. There also dedicated labs for technical innovations directly funded by central government and e-cell.

The college has a very good teaching style. The teachers are very good and hard and hardworking. They keep a record of each student. Very disciplined college. Strictly maintains the attendance record.

It is the top college and grew its name for giving record placement over years and consistently maintaining its position. The college maintains a good discipline among the students and believes in punctuality for everyone.

The mode of communication from my home to college is very good. Also my elder brother passed from the college with very good rank and got excellent job package. Also this year the college got the rank 1 position through out West Bengal from Times Of India.

in this college every faculty's are well educated and are highly trained.they teach us with care and clear doubts.the placement is very good in this college.we also have many cultural activities and tech fest also.

I decided to choose because of the college placement in year 2016 and at that time college was ranked under 100 in nirf ranking and also consulted some seniors who told me that it's a good college and all teachers are supporting

Faculties, disciplines, classes, placements.IEM is best in all of the above and so on.Best career opportunities,best classes. For this reason I choose this college. classes are regular, attendance is mandatory.We have learnt many valuable information in an interesting way.
