The faculty of the college and the department is educated and helpful the faculty have much knowledge they treat the students equally and provide better knowledge to the students they solve most of students .
I love all the clubs which will encourage you survive in college .
Course curriculum is well distributed among year wise and semester wise.

Dislikes

Few old teachers are too strict and force you to follow the curriculum of the college which is not that good and helpful, it just a burden and they threat you by cutting off your marks which hurts you overall cgpa a lot.
College does not provide much support in co-curricular activities and it is not easy to get any financial support from the college.
Lab is not that much good and not all the facilities they have...and they also haven't a good canteen.

Life of IET Lucknow

Placement Experience:

Fourth Semester. TCS, Wipro, Amazon, Heidelberg, Infosys, and so many more companies come in our campus. Avg. Package is 4 lakh. 60-70% of students are placed. Some students can go for their higher studies and some are not eligible for sitting in the company's interviews.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in their second last semester. Because of COVID restrictions, not many companies have visited for now, but many good companies specially from the IT field visit the campus every year and students get packages as high as 12-15 lac pa. The average package is around 4 lac. I will participate in placements as and when I become eligible.

Brief exposure to college

Course Curriculum Overview:

High exposure and the informative course builds skills and enhances technical skills. 6 faculty members are to 60 students. PhD and masters degree with experience in teaching. The academic session is always on time and diligent study is helpful to pass the examination.

I think the fourth semester is the best time for the placements of students because at this time they are likely to complete their course and they are finally prepared for sitting in the placements. My plans after the degree are for doing MTech.

Placement Experience:

Placement is not that good for MCA only a few companies come for us. Some of them are TATA, NEWGEN. Highest Package 6lpa. 25% of students get placed. I will also try to get placed in a good company after getting the degree

Life Inside and Around IET Lucknow

Placement Experience:

Each year many company visits the campus like Adobe, Byju's, Optum, TCS, IndiaMART, Humming Wave and many more. Placement of Computer Science is very good. You can also look for off campus placements if you want to work in other industries. Last year more than 70 companies visited which gave a median package of around 4 LPA. Being A state government college many high end companies do not visit although the quality of talent is very good as compared to some NIT's and IIIT's.

Placement Experience:

Good placement for cs and IT almost 90% of students get placed in reputed tech companies. Coding is taught by seniors name of the group is fractal which strictly focuses on the coding average package is 6 lacs and for core branches placement is less only 40%s. The student gets placed.

Remarks:

Good aspects: 1) Good placement records in certain branches.2) Gate and ESE coachings are situated very close to the college so it saves a lot of time during preparation for GATE and ESE.3) Some good senior faculty that can help you during your preparations.4) A new sports complex is under construction right now and its model looks excellent.5) Some good ventures outside the college.6) Very little amount of restrictions to the mobility of students.( Once you are in 2nd year)7) Good LAN Speed.Bad aspects: 1) Lab equipments are not well maintained.2) The classroom are quite old except new building, so they require a bit of renovation.3) I personally felt that the mess food was pathetic, though some of my friends liked it.4) Restrictions in mobility of 1st year students.5) Wi-Fi problem in 1st and 2nd year hostels.6) The college canteen is not as good as it should have to be as they ran out of items most of the time.To get admission in IET, Lucknow one has to crack UPSEE exam and have to secure a good rank as IET is being the top rated college of UPSEE. One must try to get rank under 5k to have a chance of getting admission in IET, Lucknow.Besides academics, one must not underestimate the place where college is located. Lucknow is a very good city to live in in terms of amenities and luxuries. There are some good food ventures such as Tunday Kawabi, some historical places to visit such as Imam bara, Residency and an international cricket stadium too.

Review of IET LUCKNOW

Placement Experience:

For the 7th semester student become eligible for placement to a total of 72 companies visited our college highest placement is 37 lakh given by Microsoft and average package is 4.5 lakh and low is 3.5 lakh around 70% of student got placed I planned to give GATE exam.

Placement Experience:

The students are allowed to sit in placement after the 6th semester. The companies like TCS, ADOBE, BHEL, etc visit the campus each year. The highest package of the college till date is 37 lac. which was grabbed off-campus in Microsoft. The average placement is around 5 lac. and around 70% of students get placed as rest got for further studies. After my B. Tech I have the plan to do an MBA.
