Their is knowledgeable and supportive faculty members at jngec who are dedicated to helping students succeed in their academic pursuits.
Our campus life is way better than i think we have a very attractive view from college of sundernagar city from here and for social aspects there are many clubs are formed by which students can express their talent
Firstly,the hpcet will taken by hptu and after result counselling dated announed by college around 2000 rupees charge for counseling.the counselling is at hptu hamirpur.the sc/st have great benefit in councelling.the higher rankers select their own branch easily .

Dislikes

The very first thing I don't like about this college, is there no proper ground provided for performing any sports activity. College ground is approximately 3km far from college and that is located near the polytechnic college.
It take quite sometime to reach city from college. Eventhough it's distance not that much walking feels exhausting.
If you are not very fond of walking and you're a non-hosteller, get your bags packed and be ready to trek everyday.

Likes

Scenic location is a plus point of JNGEC. It is located on top of hill which gives a whole view of the city. It have a really nice weather during winters.
Infrastructure of this college is really great. Spacious classroom and good facilities.
Labs are really great and contains all the necessary equipments. Especially the computer lab that contains good computer and fast internet.

Dislikes

Since its located on top of a hill reaching there is quite a hassle. Most people take Autorikshaw to go to college but its not feasible as daily transport.
It take quite sometime to reach city from college. Eventhough it's distance not that much walking feels exhausting.
It involves a lot of climbing and walking.

Course Curriculum Overview:

They have followed Nep which implement latest curriculum and subjects have latest knowledge. It have mix of theoretical and practical knowledge that help in real world scenarios. It may need to exclude things that no longer needee or used. Timing of exam leaves us with enough time to prepare but extending it would be good too.

Specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is that i like cars, basically machines and i have a great interest in them so i opted this course. The frequency of exam is high and there is need of improvement is that.

Professors are well educated and faculty is nice
Seniors are very helpful and supportive towards freshers
Hostel Life . Culture of hostel is very nice

Dislikes

Hostel mess food is not up to the mark or nice
Sports facilities are not up to the mark
Grounds are not that big so as to play sports

Curriculum is quite nice two periodicals are there mstand other end semester exam . Curriculum prepares us for real life problems and improves our decisionmaking ability . Difficulty of exams is moderate

Many things I liked such as college faculty and students and extracurricular activities and festivals

Dislikes

I disliked that the student have less interaction with others

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester students are eligible for campus placement. Many companies like tata , google, ITC , reliance etc. around 20 students placeed every year. Highest is 1200000 per annum was offered for textile student and average is around 500000 per annum. Around 7 cgpa students get placement. My plan is to crack gate examination after degree

Likes

The collage has reputation and it is good
The teachers are good the labs are also good there are many machines for students to learn
The fees is affordable as compared to other engineering collages

Dislikes

The placement is not that good for civil and mechanical
The food quality of the hostel is not that good
The collage do not have a basketball court

Placement Experience:

The campus placement for computer science and textile are good some students of textile got 11 lpa compus package and many students also clear govt exams from this collage the placements for civil and mechanical are less but they are not zero

Likes

In jngec seniors are very supportive when it comes to academics
In this college there is no ragging or bullying
Academics is strength of this college as teaching is excellent

Dislikes

Non availability of much space for bigger sports which need bigger grounds
Mess food is not that good in this college
Placements of branches other than textile branch is poor

Btech courses here in this college are relevant .curriculum is followed strictly . Matching with college curriculum is a good push towards achieving nice cgpa.frequecy of exams - two mid sem exams are conducted and after this an end sem theory and practical exams

Best faculty have great experience of teaching .

There are not any placement in the college .
Not a better campus or playground for the games.

Likes

I like campus of this college and students are quite friendly.
Fees are quite affordable for all the students.
We have different scholarship facilities in our college

Dislikes

Exam conduction is not that good we have to give 6-7 exams in three days that is quite tough.
Department should focus more on practical work rather then theory
Every student get a chance they should not stick to one student

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it is beneficial for IT sector if we want to pursue our carrier in that. Faculty here in this college is good they do help us in studies and other stuffs. Qualification of faculty is good and their teaching method is overall okay they use slides and notes for teaching. We have terms exam in every 1-2 months they are quite easy and they clear our subject more.
