My overall experience with campus life at Jorhat Institute of science and technology has been balanced and realistic. The campus environment is calm and academically focused with students who have fewer distractions and more time to work on their studies and personal goals. Socially campus life is simple, but active in its own way. Students mainly bond through classrooms, hostsels, common hangout spots, during college events, while the social scene is not as vibrant as that of Metropolitan colleges. JIST has several student clubs and societies related to cultural activities, technical interest and sports. This clubs provide opportunities to participate in events, develop leadership skills and work as a team. However, the level of activity depend upon student initiative, clubs become more engaging when students actively contribute rather than relying entirely on the administration. The infrastructure here is decent and functional. Academic buildings, classroom laboratories and the library meet basic requirement for engineering education. Labs are adequate for coursework. Overall campus life at JIST is more substance oriented. It may not offer luxury infrastructure or a glamorous college experience, but it provides a stable environment where students can focus on academics, build meaningful connections and grow on their own effort. How much student benefits from a campus life here largely depends on how actively they choose to participate.

Tech fest was last done in 2019 and after that this year it was conducted. There are many clubs such as robotics club ncc and many more for our social life but it lacks in many ways because the campus is based on the old science college

Overall experience is very good sports section and other cultural section is very impressive.. There are various clubs like robotics tinkering lab etc and they are always open many chances we get there a very large environment

Abyeantrix is the name of the annual fest conducted in JIST. Smart class available in all classrooms. The Library has large number of book collection available. NCC activities, dance club, music club, tech club are available.

there were held technical festival namely ABEYENTRIX, techfest in JIST. It what last organised in 2019 and after that it is mot organised till now, is is basically held inthe month not exactly but in the mnth of match to may. the library is filled with the basic books with the respective needy departments for each department the required books are available,talking about technogical provision only projectors are provided and is only a few classes as far my attention goes there are only 3 smart boards are present sport activity is not advanced or the cricating ground is not suitable, and preety work on the football ground and the indoor stadium is under construction of 1.5 years. the are some groups , clubs working in the college

Overall experience to be honest is disappointing. Infrastructure of the college is really bad.It makes the students depressed.The place is also not very good as it is 15 minutes away from town and not well developed.there are no good shops and stores as well nearby.College is quite average.

College week, every year. students get chance to show there talents.Every department comes with different ideas of performance which is really fun to watch and also participate. "Hutuli" an event to welcome the Assamese year. A tech fest was celebrated named as Abhiyantrik before we even came to this college, but due to some issues this tech fest isn't happening. Each Classrooms has fans , lights, blackboard & some have whiteboard.In some classes it has projectors.

It is a very big campus and I think I enjoy around here. There is a big playground where we can play cricket and football. We also have a tech-fest named Abyantrix, but it closed for some reason. There are various clubs also.

I'm not satisfied with the campus they provided.Campus is very big but most of the portions are covered in jungle . There is no technical fest in the college since 2019. The facilities and technological tools are not available within the classroom.

Aventrix is the fest organized by the college. The classrooms are good enough. Infrastructure is typical of a government-funded college. The quality of students in terms of extracurricular activities is growing and improving.
