I studied 5 courses per semester and there is a total of 8 semesters. So the total number of courses that I studies were almost around 40.
Some from core civil engineering, others from general engineering.
No special training was provided for campus placement. Just one resume building workshop was carried out. And that too in the final year. College provides an opportunity for students who want to start their startups. Many software companies hire a mechanical, automobile and civil students. Very fewer core companies visit college.
Aptitude training was one of good part. The placement was average for mechanical. The college encourages entrepreneurship and startup by EDDD cell. Alumni support is very less in college.
Campus placement is average and average placement with an average package and high packages are available for other departments but then many students got placed with an average package.
During my time we almost gave interview off-campus. Just one company came to our college I don't remember the name exactly. But yeah PTO 's do help in getting you into good companies.
Campus placement is Average as compared to the length of student and alumni are busy in their own work (placement) but they need to motivate juniors and guide them.
