Where Nature Meets Innovation

Innovation & Entrepreneurship Focus: The college doesn’t just focus on books; it has a strong ecosystem for startups through KGR Accelerator for Social Entrepreneurship (KASE) and the Center for Research Innovation & Development.
Supportive Faculty & Mentorship: Professors are often described as friendly and approachable. The mentorship program, where each faculty member guides a small group of students (around 15), is a highlight for personal growth.
Practical Learning (DTSD): A unique course called Design Thinking and Sustainable Development (DTSD) helps transform "paper engineers" into practical ones by focusing on real-life applications.

Dislikes

Smart Infrastructure: The classrooms are digitally enabled with projectors and high-speed Wi-Fi, fostering a modern learning experience
Expertise vs. Experience:many are highly knowledgeable and supportive, but a few lack teaching skills or are in their own learning stages.

Placement Experience:

I chose KGRCET for its Autonomous curriculum and K-Hub innovation culture. The green, 14-acre campus is beautiful and perfect for studying.Placements are solid, with companies like TCS and Cognizant offering averages of ?4.5 LPA and highs up to ?16 LPA.

About college and their flaus

Likes

Good teaching and their behaviour is good
Maintaining good atmosphere in the college
Gaining good knowledge from the facultys

Dislikes

Need to improve canteen food and should maintain neatness in the canteen
Improve the signals in college surroundings
Should clean the fruits before using them for shakes or juice in the fruit center

Placement Experience:

Many students got placement jods and they got package around 3 lakhs per annum and 15 lakhs per annum for some students. 60% is the percentage of students getting placements After getting degree i have plan to study in abroad

The teacher's way of explaining things to us is good

Dislikes

I want some more food items to be added in the canteen menu list
Some of the classrooms and corners of the college.. the Wi-Fi lags. I want them to look into it.
I don't like the infrastructure they became very old I need them to rebuilt

Placement Experience:

Students will be eligible for campus placements from the 6 semester. Many companies, including software companies like google, visit the camus. About 80 of student get placed after completing my degree my plan is to get a good job and support my parents to live in a better position

An Academically Oriented College Mixed Experience

campus infrastructure was cool and the greenery spots in campus was beautiful
the faculty were very help and encouraging in technical and also in cultures
the campus well regulate and rules are very good

Dislikes

the network issues is the only problems very the main
the rules of the academics are very strict

Placement Experience:

coming to the college placements very good the 3rd and 4th year students are eligible for campus placements . the vipro amazon and other compaines vistied the highest package was 15l per annum the people have skills and high talents are getting jobs .In a year total 98% people getting placement in the college and remaing aren't jobless they are doing enterpernership. I'm willing to write entrance exams for goverment jobs after getting a degree

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced me is my interest towards artificial intelligence. And it is advance technology I hope completion of my academics the AI is very much in jobs,I hope I'll get the job in this field

Likes

Infrastructure is good, our faculties are very supportive and guide us properly
Our college arrange hackathons and guide us what to do
Our college supports us in all the other activities too.

Dislikes

Mostly the systems doesn't work in the labs
The washrooms are not maintained properly
The floors of the classrooms are not cleaned everyday

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are limited and start in the final year. Few local companies visit, offering roles like trainee or support executive. Average package is ?3-4LPA, highest is modest. About 25% get placed. I plan higher studies and off-campus jobs.

Mid tier collage = mid tier student life

Likes

I am getting various opportunites to learn more and faculty are supportive
Labs are clean and responsive , systems are fast , lab equipments are great
Girls are in ratio of 3:1 , and every body including faculty and students ( fellow classmates ) are friendly

Dislikes

Condonation is way higher compared to other collages , 15000 is way too much and also conditions like attendence should be more than 65% to condone
In our collage is not a open gate collage , there are both postive and negetive impacts for this ... incase of emergency we cant go out , we have to take permissions from three different faculty which some time stressfull and faculty are also busy
Majorly return on investment is low , approximetly we spend 600000 in 4 year btech yet we are not guarenteed jobs , even if we get jobs they of low pays , i think the condonations , library fee , lab fee , etc should be decreased

I think after 6th semester students are aligible for campus selections. There were limited companies like wipro , accenture , delloite , etc highest placement was of 1600000 per annum and average is 400000 per annum . Collage claims 95% placements but in my point of veiw it would be 60%. My plans after completing my graduation is to settle with my family in a more peacefull country

No butter only truth

Likes

They made easy by keeping induction program before the actual classes start and in that they gave clear vission to the students what they are going to do for next four years in the college it helped alot as they can have clear idea in there mind
They not only focus on the studies they provide interactions with industry people and many other which will helpful for us in our further studies or career
The infrastructure is good as the college recently built a new building

Dislikes

The maintenance of the college ground and canteen
They didn't gave clear idea of paying the fee
The less interaction of parents and management

Placement Experience:

By my knowledge the placement will be from 6 semester and the average package is 4LPA and the highest package upto the last year is 16LPA the companies like IBM will come for placement and after my graduation if I get placement from college I will do it

Thursday DSA hours because not only study apart from study they are conducting weekly sports and other co curricular activities every week they are conducting.it is good because not only studies they are also focusing on other co curricular activitie And mentoring and mentee interaction every month. They are taking feedback personaly fro every single student and asking about their problems in academic or in any other.and coming to the placements this college is giving a good placements.

I’m a B.Tech student at KG Reddy College of Engineering and Technology and my experience has been positive. The campus is clean, green, and peaceful with ponds and ducks, which makes it a great place to study. The college encourages innovation and active participation in events. Faculty are supportive and help students grow both technically and personally.
