My LIFE AT KITSW

Likes

College Infrastructure is good & environment is very peaceful
The faculty are well experienced and posesses great knowledge.
Providing every one an oppurtunity of placement, even a small amount of package.

Dislikes

Mess food is not as much good as expected and has to be adjusted.
Some of the faculty working as junior level lecturers cannot teach properly even though they have some knowledge about it.
Not enough liberty given in college, some strict rules have to be followed.

Placement Experience:

The placements at our college are ok , not quite bad. But not as good as expected. The students get to interviews in 1st semester of the 4th year. Many companies like amazon, cisco, chubb, modak analytics, accenture, Atlas, Oracle, poltech, etc visit our college. Upto now , the no. Of placements would be around 70. The highest package offered till now is 31 lpa by amazon and current year is 14.3 lpa by oracle till now. Average salary of this college is around 6-7 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed is gradually being reduced. till now , only 30%. My plan is to get a good job with good amount of package. If i didnt , i will continue M.Tech further.

Likes

Good environment and pleasent place to roam around
Most faculties are exprienced and skilled
Proper labs and equipments for practical learning.

Dislikes

Rude faculties which might be common in any college
Few students who just come drunk and we have to suffer because of them
Fests getting cancel because of few drunk students behaviour.

Our college promote students to go for internships online and offline for which their are additional credits based on the number of weeks the internship was. Placements are also quite good and the average package is around 3.5 lakhs.

My review for the college i had to join

Likes

New infrastructure to promote entrepreneurship
Study focused but needs more better practical knowledge
The campus is clean and green promoting environment friendly climate

Dislikes

No fests where students could explore more of college life
Textbook study oriented rather than practical knowledge
Very few teaching staff are expertised in their fields

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible for placements TCS,vipro,accenture , amazon are some companies Highest package is 1500000 Average package is 400000 Not many students get placed We have traning and placement from 3rd year of our college and we will be given training for interview and placement purposes My plans after the degree is either to do an MBA or start a startup

Campus provided me with good environment where I had plenty interactions.
The faculty where supportive and encouraged use to learn new things.
The placement opportunity where very high with good package

Dislikes

The infrastructure was not upto the mark they were few changes that need to taken.
The library needs some new books and more computers
The hostels were good but food need to be changed

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunity where high as they are the man who cracked all the company he course the opportunity wisely.the percentage of placement are 94% I am looking forward for The USA for higher studies

I like the way they think about our career.
I like the way they provide free library services.
I like the way they provide equal time for everything.

Dislikes

Sometimes I feel like they don't care about the feedback.
I don't like the classroom in my 3rd year and when we asked they didn't change it.
I feel they don't give importance to cultural events

Placement Experience:

Yeah...We have a good campus placement opportunities but that thing is we are unable to score well due to the involvement of academics like labs, assignments projects.So I can say complete practice on coding and aptitude gives good result in upcoming days.

Classes and Ambience which are all With Aesthetic view , and the events which are conducted by the college management.All the subjects are Outcome based learning schedules and also Having tutorials . For every subject and having time for the library.
Quality of social Interacts are very well and very good, the faculty are absolutely good in teaching And All The faculty are well qualified and The Labs are also very good and having time for the labs , placement services are at 4th yr if CGPA is 6.0
The quality of infrastructure is very good and Aesthetic view consisting of each block for each branch and classrooms , learning facilities are too good And Fully Wifi campus.the faculty expertises are good and teaching methods are also very good....

Dislikes

The college KITSW completes a SEM in Very low time that is 18weeks.their would be no time for the preparation and we should learn Quick and practise well . The small canteen is somewhat discomfort and the hostel food is some what untasty and not well
In Kakatiya institute of technology and science their is an attendance issue , A student should compulsory must maintain A minimum of 75% of attendence if not the student will be detained and Should Pay The semester fee again and Should study with Jr
Backlog detention is too bad The student will Be Detained at 5th semester if he is having more than 4backlogs in first Year.and also when it comes to 7th semester the students must not have more then 4backlogs including 1st and 2nd yr if Have Detaine

Placement Experience:

Placements are very well in college From 7th semester placements start in college The companies visited are Accenture,Genpact, Microsoft, Birla ,Google , Amazon Last Yr Highest package is 41L per annum 65% of students get campus placements My plans after getting the degree to do MTECH

Best for the Academics and placements - Most Oldest and best College in Warangal (KITS Warangal)

Likes

First thing I liked about my college is academics, infrastructure and the most experienced faculty
Second thing I liked about my college is sports , here in my College there is huge ground for sports and larger indoor stadium
And the last thing I liked about my college is placements ,in my College placements will Be good

Dislikes

The First thing I dislike about my college is rules ,sometimes I feel like iam in school
Our college doesn't encourage cultural activities,last year fest is not conducted
This College failed in encouraging students in extra curricular activities

Placement Experience:

Placements in our College were pretty good.Average package in our college is 6lpa even though a lot companies are hiring us.Top.companies like.chubb,Tcs etc will hire us and the pertcentage of students who are getting placed is 80 percent

A student experience in KITSW college

Likes

I like about college clubs which makes us learn about event management

Dislikes

I don’t like the syllabus which is heavy when compared to other colleges
I don’t like the tutorial system which is not suitable for btech colleges we should learn independently
Girls to boys ratio is 2:3, boys are more than girls

Placement Experience:

I am studying now final year btech, placements have decreased a lot when compared to other colleges and previous year history. Till now Cse branch got visited 10 companies and other branches branches got 3-4 companies, since I am non Cse i didn't get many opportunities

Likes

I liked the environment and the greenery
I liker the friends i have made in this college
I like my like especially when it rains it looks beautiful

Dislikes

Not giving enough enjoyment for students like fest etc
Taking out all the fest due to a minor incidents
Some teachers who think only they are right

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have took this course because i can go both in software and govt jobs. They just give us some training for our placement drives. The improvements i want in our clg is that they give some enjoyment for the students not only exams and training but also some njoyment which the clg students want in their clg life.
