KNIT Sultanpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students are eligible after 7th semester for campus placements. Infosys, Intel, etc visited and offers 3-4 lakh and even 13 lakh. Highest package is 13 lakh. My plans after getting degree is to work more on my skills and get job in Google

The course curriculum is a little bit old. The college follows the course curriculum provided by AKTU, Lucknow. You will get a very little practical knowledge about the technologies presently being used in the industry. They will not be taught in class, you will have to them by yourself if you want to cop up with the industry. Faculty members are good but not the best. They teach you in class but their way of teaching is just pathetic. You will have to take help of the open-sources like YouTube to gain the complete knowledge of the subjects. Although if you attend class regularly, then the matter taught in class is just enough to pass the semester. I chose the course due to my interest in science. There are almost 8-10 faculty members in each department who handle almost 250 students. Hence the faculty:student ratio ranges from 1:30 to 1:25. Most of the faculty are contract faculties. Faculty are well-qualified but their teaching method is very non-interactive. Semester exam are easy.

I took electrical engineering because in future there might be a huge scope in electrical engineering so keeping this in my mind I took.in my college faculty and student ratio is good.in my college faculty member are well educated.their teaching method is very good.2 semester and 2 class tests are conducted by college.

From 7 semester students will be eligible for placement drive Recently inture,prolifit and step2gen came to my college and HCl will also come in next two to three days If you have cgpa. Greater than 8.5 then you will become more eligible as compared to others. My future plan is to get get placement atleast 15 lpa

I am very impressed by all faculty members.All members are very polite and good knowledge and good in delivering their knowledge to us.one members held 80 students in class which is so difficult but thay handle it .

If you are in core branch like electrical, civil , mechanical engineering then their are very less chance to placed . There are few companies come in campus but if you are in non core branch like computer science electronics information technology definitely placed by on campus placement.

In electronics engineering, about 60 to 70 % of students got placed. The average package of electronics engineering is 10 lakh per annum. The students who are not placed may go for GATE and IES like competitive exams.

In KNIT, the placements are quite good. After the fifth semester, all the students of KNIT are eligible for the placements. Many companies visit KNIT every year like Tata consultancy services, wipro, Infosys, and many good companies.

After 5th semester companies are visited in knit and select the student .tata consultancy service ,wipro ,Infosys ,L&T, companies comes in collage for on campus placement.there is many variation in placement cs student placement 85%.it 75% ece60%.and for ME,CEand EE less placement.
