Kathir College of Engineering provides b. Tech information technology to the students who have completed their 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized Indian Board with at least 45 percent marks. Then they will have to give the entrance EXAM TNEA and based on their merit, they will be selected.

I am a local resident to tamil Nadu and lives very nearby to the college so I wanted to get into the college. For that, I gave the entrance of TNEA in which I scored decent and hence got into the college smoothly.

i had a wonderful experience here. I learned, i enjoyed, earned friends and i got a very good job from here. What else i could have have wished! My life took a new and right turn when i joined this college. The college even calls and invite me as a guest to influence other students. This is more than enough i could get.

Overall, the college is a great college for itself already being recognized as a top institution for the engineering field. It allows people of all cultures and traditions to be a part of the entire campus. College also encourage student to take part in extracurricular activities.

The college offers admission to its courses on the basis of marks obtained in TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission) exam . It takes into consideration the marks obtained in class 12th as well. A minimum criteria of 50% marks is necessary for the admission.

To get admission on must pass TNEA exam and must have more than 45% marks in 10 plus 2 with any of the engineering subjects. All the process was done online. I was glad to be a part of such an institution.

Positive points about this college are teaching and non-teaching faculty. The library here is fully air-conditioned with the reference section, magazine section and stack area. There is an on-campus cyber cafe as well. The cafeteria is well cleaned and managed. The only negative point of this college does not provide placement for every student.

I got admission to the college on the basis of rank which I secured in TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) exam . The exam is conducted every year and the cut off rank is mentioned in the website of TNEA .

My college days were impressive as well as gave me the best journey I ever had. The college arena was so beautiful in addition to that Tamil Nadu is so marvelous in hospitality as well as I learned a lot about their culture.

Here I made a lot of friends and moreover, the college department was very nice and helpful. I really felt good while studying her and most of the time the college had this wonderful way of giving the students a better chance to increase their efficiency.
