NSEC Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

After 3yr students become eligible for campus placements and companies like hp, tcs, cts, wipro, dell and many more comes and most of them are mass recruiters. Maximum students get placed in the mass recruiting companies only like tct, cts etc. which is the same case in whole West Bengal colleges except IIT and NIT. In 2020, 72% of the eligible candidates were placed in some companies where the highest offered package is 10lpa and the average is 4.5lpa. I have plans to continue my study with Masters's and maybe a doctorate most probably abroad.

The overall placements of the college are good. The placements of the ECE department of the college is extraordinarily better than many of the private colleges in West Bengal. The placement of all other departments of the college is somewhat better than many government colleges in West Bengal. Companies like Cognizant, TCS, HCL, Byjus, IBM, Chegg and many other tech companies (A total of 90+ companies including Tech and Non-Tech which visited this year) are major recruiters of our college students. The highest package offered was 10 LPA with an average of 4.5 LPA. A total of 72% of the eligible students got placed this year. I have planned to work as a software engineer in the top Tech giants after my degree.

Usually from 6th SEM students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS, CTS, Capgemini, LTI, Wipro, Thought works come for offering jobs to the students. The highest package is 10 LPA and the average package is 3.75 LPA.In this year due to the pandemic situation the numbers of placed students are quite low. But for the CSE IT and ECE department almost 90-95% of students got placed.CSBS is a newly added branch in this college by TCS.So I can't give any placement status of CSBS. After getting my degree I will definitely join a job.

From seven semester students become eligible for campus placement.Many companies like tata,wipro ,etc visit every year.The highest package is 10 lpa and average package is 4-5 lpa. Approximately 70 percent student get placed.My dream after getting degree is to clear IES.

Students become eligible for placement from 6th sem. A lot of companies like Microsoft, HCL, HP, TCS and so on visits for campus placements. The highest package of 12 LPA and an average of 4 LPA were offered to date. Almost 80-90% of the students get placements.

The quality of placements is good. It ranks 4th among all the private engineering colleges in Kolkata. 90% of students get placed every year in top software companies. The maximum package is 10 LPA and the average package is about 3 to 4 LPA.

NSEC allows their students to sit for different campus activities from the 6th semester. Numerous companies are visited our college in 2020-2021 at the time of the pandemic also. I have sat for the recruiting process of TCS, CTS, LTI etc. companies. I also have been placed now. The highest package for our department is near about 5 lakh and for our college, it is near 7 lakh. Last year approximately 60-70% of students are got placed from the campus recruitment. After getting my B.Tech degree I will continue with my job and if possible I want to complete my M.Tech from this college.

From the 3rd year that is 6 sem, you have companies coming for placements. Companies like TCS, Byjus, Wipro etc. comes to college. The highest package is 20 LPA and Avg packages are like 8 LPA per stream. Topper's package differs due to stream.

From the 6th semester Netaji Subhash Engineering College's student eligible for placement. TCS, Microsoft, Cognizant, Amazon company visited and no offers made. I think 15 LPA. I think it's 93%. Higher study or job.

Placement is conducted from the 4th year onwards and internship from the 3rd. There are quite a few companies that visit the college for placement like Wipro, TCS, Infosys etc. The average package is around 3.6 lakh PA. The CSE department has a high placement ratio.
